I. DEVOURED. THIS.
I had SO much fun with this one.

Sabrina and Lawton had me GIGGLING the entire time. Their banter? THEIR CHEMISTRY?absolutely UNHINGED. The ultimate opposites attract couple, and I was SAT. These two together were a walking disaster in the best possible way 🤭.

The premise alone had me hooked, and the family dynamics made everything even more chaotic. There was so much drama, so much ridiculousness. And don’t even get me started on the romance! The tension, the banter, the way these two played off each other! I was giggling at my screen like a FOOL. The chemistry was chemistry-ing, your honor!!!

I also really enjoyed the mystery aspect, And i was having too much fun to let them ruin the experience.

Overall, this book was chaotic, hilarious, addictive, and ridiculously entertaining. Sabrina and Lawton had me kicking my feet one minute and laughing at their nonsense the next.

If you love stabby romance, opposites attract, and top-tier banter. PLEASE ADD THIS TO YOUR TBR💋

personally, i loooove when a book has a MMC who has secretly been pining after the FMC for years or when they yearn for a second chance. like yes, give me all the angst and tension and banter right now thank yeeeww 🫦

i knew i had to start with the 2 mmc’s that may be the biggest yearners of all time; james huxley & bennett reiner because GODDAMN those men!!! i’m afraid i’ll never move on oops

it’s finally that time of the year to post my 10 before the end!! it’s literally so crazy how fast this year flew by because i remember being so excited, starting 2026 freshly out of the biggest reading slump of my life (1+ year) and now it’s halfway october and i’ve already read 63 books this year!! & up to so many more great reads!

either way, here’s my (very anticipated) 10 books i want to read before 2026 ends list!

Wow. Wow. WOW.
You know those books that make you giggle, kick your feet, and forget about the world for a little while? yeah, this was one of them.

This book was SO much fun! witty writing, hilarious banter, and the magical realism woven into the story made it such an entertaining read. I laughed A LOT (and cry a bit), and having the best time with these characters (my galaxy 🌌👀)
Their funny banters were my ABSOLUTE favorite in this book!
This book SO addictive.

@imanharirikia really knows how to make a story feel playful, charming, and full of personality!

Romantic Hero ಄ review ⋆✴︎˚｡⋆

THE BANTER. THE CHEMISTRY. THE ROMANCE. I LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS BOOK.

What I loved most was the banter between Gertie and River and how their chemistry gradually built throughout the story. Their interactions were so fun to read, and I absolutely adored the way their relationship developed. The tension AND all the little moments. I DEVOURED it all up!!

I also loved the unique premise of a fictional character literally coming to life. A romance author accidentally bringing her own fictional cowboy into the real world?
Ugh Kirsty, you’re incredible. The whole concept was so whimsical, chaotic, and entertaining.

But beneath all the hilarious moments, I really appreciated Gertie’s journey of finding herself again, learning to put herself first, and realizing that sometimes the ending we think we want isn’t necessarily the one we need. And River? The way he sees Gertie for who she really is and encourages her to embrace herself made him even more swoon worthy.

This book was such a delightful mix of humor, heart, magical realism, and romance. It made me laugh, gave me all the butterflies, giggling, kicking my feet and left me with that warm, happy feeling I want from a romcom.
Safe to say, River Oakley has officially earned his place in my book boyfriend collection.

If you love witty banter, undeniable chemistry, fictional characters coming to life, and a romance with a little bit of magic, PLEASE PICK THIS ONE UP!

𝓜y babies, where do i even begin?? these books literally tore me apart. i had binding 13 on my shelf for over 3 years, not knowing what a story was sitting in it, waiting for me to read it and tear me apart. After reading only a 100 pages of b13 i just knew i had to immediately buy keeping 13, and i did in fact do that. First thing i did after finishing b13 was also immediately continue k13 because what was that ending??! Either way, to everyone who hasn’t read this, please do and prepare some tissues!

in honor of me reading this series 3 years ago now and the new book coming out soon (i can’t wait!!), i wanted to share my fav teenage crime solvers 😛😛

if you haven’t read the books; the naturals is a group of teenagers that are part of a secret fbi program where each have their own power! they’re meant to solve cold cases but ofc things happen and get taken to the next level, if you know what i meannn ;)

i’ve been trying to use actors as faceclaims but it was too hard for this post so i spent hours searching pinterest instead of scrolling through lists of actors 😭

this is a little different than what i normally post but hope you enjoy nonetheless 💌

after wanting to pick up something by ki stephens for the longest time and taking her surprise releasing this AMAZING INCREDIBLE book as a sign, i am planning on reading her entire biography because wow.

let me just say that i had the best time reading cherry picking. it was the perfect book to get out of a romance slump while still being romance and the aspect of the fmc evie being a gravedigger plays a huge role in that i think! ki said that this book had a little gothic touch and i loooove every single thing ugh i don’t even know where to start 😭

the mmc briggs deals with grief and loss starting really early in the book which may cause him to make decisions that feel human and relatable to me as a reader. the book made me laugh, tear up and shocked by the dirty mouth on our fav number thirteen 😋 the writing style, the characters, the way the story and characters deal with loss and grief, literally everything is perfectly done wow!! and then there’s the absolute gorgeous cover omg i am IN AWE!!!

brb telling everyone i know to read this STAT 🍒

will i ever stop talking about may & raf? probably not! 😌 and honestly, if you read burn for you, you’d instantly get my obsession with them. the beauty in the storyline & the relatability in the characters is pure perfection, the found family delicious and making you crave as if you were part of the group! burn for you is the second book in the ruby cove series, but 4 have already been published, all available in paperback & KU! it is the best binge-able series and so beautiful, each character having something you can relate to while still making you able to dive into the story ❤️‍🩹

bridie, you’re incredibly talented, i’ll never stop saying it and i’ll never stop being your biggest hype girl rooting for you in the corner. i am so so proud of you and of everything you’ve accomplished and it is an honor to have been here since the beginning of it all, watching you make one beautiful creation after the other. i love you 🧡

september wrap up & october hopefuls 🍂☕️

i truly can not believe that it’s already time for another wrap up wow, september has flown by and gone so slowly at the same time and i don’t know how to feel about it BUT fall has officially started, aka the best reading season!! there’s nothing better than reading under a warm blanket while it’s raining outside and you have a hot cocoa next to you ☕️

september was a mixed month for me. the first few days, i spent in the south of france on my trip and as soon as i came back, i dived headfirst into edits for my second book. i haven’t gotten far into that but still. i bought a new laptop that i’m really happy with but i’ve also felt blue. it might be the changing of the weather influencing my mood or just the combination of things but i hope to feel better again soon & read the best books in october because i am desperate need of a 5 star!! ⭐️

honestly this was such a bad season for me, i barely read anything from my summer hopefuls because i didn’t read anything when i was on vacation, unfortunately.
