This is @flourishpancakes Plantbased Original Protein Pancakes served with some sautéed cinnamon apples and some @fieldroast Apple & Maple breakfast sausages.

Tonight’s dinner is French Bread Mummy Pizzas with garden salad.

These unconventional mummy pizzas were tasty and fun to eat. The next time I make these pizzas, I think I’ll add a layer of shredded cheese before the sliced cheese to hide the toppings better and really make the eyes pop. If you only use cheese, the mummy design will shine through better.

Firing up my Pumpkin 🎃 Cauldron, to make a pot of #Autumn 🍂 #Sausage & #Cider Stew . Made with @fieldroast #Vegetarian Smoked Apple 🍎 & Sage Sausage, @redjacketny Honeycrisp Apple 🍎 Cider, Potatoes 🥔, Carrots 🥕, Onion 🧅 & Garlic 🧄. I did use chicken stock, but you could use vegetable stock to make this Vegan/Vegetarian #Deliciousness . Simmered for 1 hr. & ladled into the cutest witchy cauldron soup bowl from Kohls. Such a perfect stew for a chilly autumn evening.

Let me know if you’ve ever tried Salvadoran Pasteles! In case anyone is wondering the @fieldroast sausages are amazing to eat with anything! You can find them at Whole Foods, Ralph’s or other grocery stores across the US.

PASTELES FILLING
1 Pkg @fieldroast Italian Garlic & Fennel Sausages minced finely
1/2 Cup Chopped White Onions
3-5 Minced Garlic Cloves
1/2 Cup Chopped Green Bell Pepper
1/2 Cup Chopped Carrots
1 Cup Chopped Potatoes about 1 large potato

SEASONINGS:
1 heaping tsp Annatto (Achiote)
1 Vegan Beef or Chicken Bouillon Cube
1/2 tsp Cumin & Black Pepper
1 tsp smoked paprika
*Additional Salt to taste.

MASA FLOUR:
4 Cups White Corn Masa Flour
2 Teaspoon Annatto (Achiote)
1 Tablespoon vegan butter
Optional: 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder (I would omit if you want a crunchier texture)
4 Cups Water (Room Temp)
*Knead flour until very soft and no longer sticks to your hands.

DIRECTIONS
* Add Onion to a pan, sauté for a couple min then add minced Field Roast Sausages and the rest of the veggies per the order you see in the video. Sautee about 5 minutes and add seasonings.
* Add water about 1/3 cup and cover till potatoes are soft about 7-10 mins.

*Follow the steps to make your Tortillas. You can also use a tortilla press.

*Fry your pasteles on medium high until golden brown (about 5 mins) and they feel crispy. Flip them just once if frying in a pot with shallow oil.
