What a crazy beautiful ride this month has been, from raising 150 000 in 48 hours for the sweetest little angel, watching Humi grow exponentially- he went from army crawl to us struggling to contain him and now he is clapping, we were intentional in teaching him for two days and he got it (every time we are intentional we get it right). To making our way to Greece (more content is coming). Working with my fave brands 🥺♥️, having beautiful and enriching conversations and planning the book club happening this Saturday ✨🤌🏾🦋 can’t wait to see you! I’ve also felt so beautiful and that’s thanks to @angaliaapparel a brand that understands me and my body!!! Also spending time with my @tebogo.lekalakala she is such a beautiful human

My co-founder, @thevibefounder and I hosted another creator dinner for @joinottodotcom in NYC. Nights like this do not happen without great partners. The evening was a celebration of the launch of our new partnership with Winslow, and we wanted to bring our New York City creators together to celebrate with us. With Winslow, we are now able to provide enhanced payroll and HR capabilities to our creators’ businesses globally. I always leave these nights with more than I brought. You can read everything written about the creator economy and still not know what it takes to run one of these businesses by yourself. You only hear it sitting across from someone doing this full-time, making real money. What’s working, what’s quietly breaking, and where the hours are really going. Glad we got to host a few of our own clients at that table, next to creators we were meeting for the first time. Models, content creators, operators, builders, founders. Different lanes, same problem. Most of that table is a business of one, doing the creative work and running the company at the same time. Making that lighter is the thing we can’t stop thinking about. We’re definitely doing a few more of these before the end of the year. A camera roll full of New York, but this dinner is what I keep coming back to. My co-founder, @snikkooo and I hosted a creator dinner for @joinottodotcom , and I’m grateful we got to spend an evening with the people behind so many different kinds of stories. Comedy, everyday life, work, brand campaigns. Different worlds, but so much shared ambition. People working hard to make something of their own, with a lot of passion and even more dreams. New York already gives you that feeling that if you can make something happen here, you can make it happen anywhere. Sitting with these creators added to that feeling. We learned a lot, shared a lot, and got to know a small, growing community I’m glad we could bring together. I left thinking about how much influence creators have over the way a story gets told. When a brand works with a creator, it’s trusting someone’s voice, perspective, and relationship with their audience. That’s a lot of responsibility, and a lot of power to shape what people pay attention to. I think more brands are beginning to understand that. And I believe creators will keep taking a bigger role in shaping media. Grateful to everyone who joined us, shared their experiences, and made this night what it was. In less than 48 hours you have all changed the lives of Kaone’s family. You are good people and I am grateful to experience your kindness. I’ve actually been left speechless.
