🚨New fall release sake alert🍶✨ This one is from your beloved brewery, @hououbiden 🌾

“Golden Dusk” has incredible depth. Elegant aroma at first, followed by a crisp, clean finish. It evolves in your glass as the temperature changes. Such a beautiful experience, and it’s no surprise coming from Hououbiden (the brewery behind “Golden Dawn” and “Golden Future,” if you’re familiar with our menu)🙌

If you have a choice, why not go for something you can enjoy only this season? 🍁

Still relatively new to the US market, this is one we have a feeling you’ll be seeing at more restaurants soon. Get to know it here before everyone else catches on😉😎

No more extreme heat, finally starting to feel like October. There are more fall sake we haven’t caught up with posting here (as always). Cheers to the season!🍶🌾🥰

Thank you to you everyone who came out for Long Beach Sake Day! We had some amazing food and, of course, some outstanding sake. We had so much fun talking with everyone at the Fifth Taste Booth, I didn’t get enough pictures!! But hopefully I will see you at Sake Secret on Nov. 8th. A huge thank to @keikomaguro and Aiko and @fifth_taste!

🚨New rotating sake sampler🍶🍶🍶🤩

This time, we focus on the power of sake in food pairing. But in a true Bar Uerukamu fashion, it’s totally casual, and you don’t have to know anything about sake pairing to enjoy it!

Just be thirsty, be open minded, and be ready to get surprised.

“Sake food pairing” is low risk, high reward. Sake rarely clash with any food. With no tannins, low acidity, and plenty of amino acids, it compliments a wide range of flavors. That said, it’s such a rich experience when you find a perfect match. Discover, explore, and have fun finding your own combinations. And of course, the most important thing (in anything) is to have fun!😊

Our rotating sake sampler will, well, rotate. So please enjoy while it lasts!

Sake Day 2026 was an absolute dream! Once a year in SF we get to celebrate the sake community and this amazing beverage that brings us all together, and it’s becoming one of my favorite weekends of the year. Not to mention the opportunity to spend time with the remarkable @fifth_taste crew. Saw friends from all over, countless kanpai’s, and of course plenty of sake. ❤️🍶 Already looking forward to next year.

Missed out of the fun? Don’t worry.. I am sure you can find me pouring sake near you verrrry soon 😉

Two of our current sake faves, both from young modern producers. The Koueigiku Sunburst is an unpasteurized and undiluted style, with this wonderful citrus-y and yogurt tang, amazing with say roasted beets or ceviche.
The Hanakaze is a revelation - a craft sake with a junmai base with an infusion of hops. Think craft IPA that’s taken down a notch. Lots of lychee, fresh herbs, pine and grapefruit notes all dancing perfectly together. This bottle is a ton of fun but also one to think about - there’s a lot going on! Try this alongside your next @bahnthaisd order, or with fish and chips from @kairoabrewingcompany - banger! 💥
