My Azul routine that helped me win a gold. 🥇 I dont know if there will be another concept I relate to as much. 🤣😅

Loved the competition, loved going as @fightandflightstudio , and loved being coached by @tinsley_sparkles 🥰

Its hard not to see all the mistakes, but I think I've improved and just want to be proud that I put this together and was hopefully entertaining.

Months of work, many tears, countless run throughs, and one trip to Bangkok later…and here it is! Azul 2026 really pushed me to grow as an artist and a coach.
This piece about self-destructive tendencies and the temptation to give in to them was both cathartic and emotionally exhausting. I enjoyed getting to play my most manic self, and overall I’m really proud of what I put together. There are still 10 million tiny things I wish I could improve, but I’ll save them for the next competition.

Bangkok trip Azul 2026!
I never thought I would bring my own team to a competition. It was absolutely surreal standing with so many accomplished aerialists to receive recognition for my own studio.
I didn’t realize there is a better feeling than placing well with a routine you’ve put your heart and soul into. But seeing my teammates fly and succeed with their own routines is unmatched! Congratulations @shaleena_fightandflight and @ivegotangst, and thank you for accompanying me on this wild ride. I couldn’t have done it without you both!
So long for now BKK. See you soon 🩷🇹🇭

Teacher, Performer Competitor!!

Last Saturday I was invited for an "Aerial Hoop" showcase, featuring Tinsley and her students and Man! Was it Inspiring! Check out @fightandflightstudio

Tinsley's dedication to teaching AND in a very short duration, helping her students perform at a showcase for and audience! That's nothing short of Spectacular!! 🙌🏻

Tinsley wanted to pay homage to the white outfit worn by Amy Lee and was going to perform to an Evanescence song.

For a performer who needs to be able to twist, turn and stretch in every direction, means the costume needs to do that as well 😅

We dyed everything to this gorgeous shade of ivory, used lycra, stretch net and georgette to create the costume.

Tinsley had to take the first cut of the costume to the Hoop and give it a run, before we did the final finishing 😅
