A custom curved stair takes shape on site.

After months of planning, detailing, and coordination, the geometry is finally becoming tangible.

Each panel along the curve is unique, carefully fabricated to create a continuous, fluid form. The goal was to make the construction’s complexity feel effortless in the finished stair.

A closer look at the process behind our Edwardian Remodel.

One of our favorite moments is seeing custom pieces finally find their place.

This floating vanity and stone partition have been months in the making, and it’s exciting to watch the design come to life

We can’t wait to share the finished space. 🤍

Taking shape, one curve at a time. 🤍

A curved stair is one of the most complex elements to bring to life. Every tread, riser, and connection must be carefully coordinated to ensure the geometry, structure, and craftsmanship work together seamlessly.

Watching this architectural feature take shape is an exciting milestone, and we can’t wait to share the finished result.

Tranquil Retreat | Our late summer collection celebrates the season’s quiet moments with thoughtfully-designed, standout pieces that give you—and your garden—breathing room. Swipe through to learn more about our stunning shoot location: The House of Four Ecologies, located in the Sea Ranch Community in Sonoma County, CA.

Architect James Leng, together with three long-time friends and fellow design professionals, conceived of this 1,600 square foot residence as a “shared sanctuary” that celebrates creativity, gathering, and the surrounding environment.

Let nature guide—it’s a design philosophy we’re passionate about too—and so we were especially drawn to how the house is situated amongst wild grasses, a copse of firs, and even a peek of the Pacific Ocean.

A warm welcome.

So, as we slide into the second half of summer, we invite you to join us in the backyard to bask in a sunset or two.

Our custom parquet flooring is now fully installed, and sanding has begun, bringing the pattern’s craftsmanship and geometry into focus.

Rooted in Edwardian tradition and inspired by the homeowners’ European travels, this bespoke design is beginning to reveal its full character.

Next: stain, finish, and protect!!

A curved stair is where design intent meets construction reality—demanding rigorous coordination between geometry, structure, and code.

These in-progress snapshots capture the design development phase: refining tread and riser consistency, aligning guardrail integration, and resolving how the stair reads both in plan and in section. It’s a process of translating complex curvature into buildable details, where precision in layout and fabrication is what ultimately delivers a seamless architectural experience.
