To my safe place… The Fillin’ Station Coffeehouse 🤍

I remember coming here for the first time a few years ago and instantly knowing it would become part of my routine. And that is exactly what happened. For the last few years, I’ve found myself here weekly; sometimes to work on projects, sometimes to write, sometimes just to exist for a little while.

The Fillin’ Station was always the first place that came to mind.

Over the last year, I’ve had the privilege of being an ambassador here, which has made this place mean even more to me. Getting to represent a space that I genuinely love and feel connected to has been so special.

The Fillin’ Station is closing its current* doors soon… and will be opening at a later date in a different location here in Mankato (the old 507).

What I’ll miss most about this current location is the environment. The music, the performances, the art, the people. There has always been such a comforting place for me. It became more than just a coffee shop to me — it became my place. A place where I felt safe, inspired, and welcomed every single time I walked through the doors. I got to meet the beautiful Josie (@mankatomom ) who truly knows no bounds to resilience. I am so proud of her and her family during this time.

I am so grateful to have known this place and the community inside of it.

While I’m going to miss it deeply, I can’t wait to see this next chapter unfold in its new home. 🤍

📍 Fillin’ Station Coffeehouse - Mankato, Mn.
✔️ Ocean breeze
✔️Mango Matcha
✔️ Cherry Sunrise
Third stop is the #1 coffee shop in Mankato for the year of 2025! Quick little refuel with food in our tummies and a break from espresso! Going on a coffee crawl with redbull junkies calls for some bubbles! This cute Mankato staple is breath taking with the local art, greenery and beautiful backroom! They’ll be moving locations which calls for another visit soon 😉
