It’s been already a year since I joined this wonderful adventure called UNHOLY, the debut feature by @bb_rave_ in collaboration with @foss.productions @kviff was rewarding, fun and so so inspiring! We worked hard, we pitched even harder and we had so much fun doing it! Our first time presenting the project outside our small but mighty team landed to both the film industry and the international press 😌 Now, @midpointinstitute just ended yet our journey is only starting! Huge thanks to Phaedra for the trust and the hard work, to @ourestis for bringing the Unholy Dream Team to life and for the rest of the Focus Queer Projects for being the cherry on top 🩷

A message from filmmaker @theos_perspective Hello, my name is Theo Panagopoulos and I am filmmaker and while right now in the film industry and some of the Greek film industry remain silent or is currently celebrating in Cannes Film Festival, one of our very best, Greek filmmaker and producer Phaedra Vokali has been abducted violently and illegally in international waters by Israeli military forces. She was part of a peaceful mission along with many other volunteers global sumud flotilla in order to break the siege and distribute aid to the people of Gaza who have been facing continuously a genocide the past 2 and a years. This is a stark reminder of the same methods IOF uses every day when abducting and detaining Palestinians in silence and with full impunity. Phaedra’s abduction though points points to Greek and Cypriot governments’ complicity who have kindly opened their seas and allow their own citizens to be kidnapped. We should demand everyone’s safe return as fast as possible and the cease of all military and economic agreements between Greece, Cyprus and Israel. Free Palestine

Mrs. Parthena is indeed a chatterbox, a saleswoman, and a coffee shop owner with roots in Pontus and Kazakhstan. Passersby, neighbors, and friends all visit Mrs. Parthena's annual booth at the Panagia Soumela festival for advice, shopping, fortune-telling, jokes, and sweet talk. The film follows the kevezou, Mrs. Parthena, during the festival, while simultaneously observing the relationship that develops between the director and Parthena, who overcome (or not) their differences, exchanging experiences, opinions, and sometimes even gaze."
