I presented a TEDx Talk & performed at @tedxcecilstreet exploring the ‘Music That Moves Us’, heartfelt songwriting, creativity & connection to music. It was an absolute honour & inspiring time ❤️✨

I’ve enjoyed learning from TEDx Talks since I was a teenager so when I was asked to present my own speech & perform It felt like an important challenge to undertake. It was inspiring to hear experts across all fields share their heartfelt speeches and express what they’re passionate about. How they are changing the world through their heartfelt work. I’ve always struggled with some imposter syndrome across all careers over the years including as a singer-songwriter. While I was forced out of my comfort zone & in no means felt like an expert, It was so encouraging to hear everyone speak with grace & humility at the forefront on and off the stage. Thank you @heart_sparks & @julesyparker for the incredible opportunity & help making this happen.

The talk & performance will be live online soon, I’ll keep you updated when it’s finally live for you to watch. 🎥

Every TEDxCecilStreet @tedxcecilstreet that Jo Parker @heart_sparks and I curate is incredibly special and unique in its own right. And that’s not due to us.

It’s on the dedicated speakers, AV team, volunteers and amazing talents like @fimims capturing our day.

And yesterday for me with our theme of ‘The Heart Of It’ I will remember personally for me being the most emotional. More than one speaker let alone more than one moment bought me to tears - including streamers down my cheek at the back of the room thinking about my own heart, life and business. It was a life memory in every way.

Thank you to everyone who joined Jo and I as volunteers to bring this day to life and see the literal dream of so many come true. The dream to say - “I’m a TEDx Speaker.” That’s true of today.

Brava…
