A & Y Coastal Collective 👗 @aycoastalcollective A&Y Coastal Collective is a locally owned bamboo clothing brand founded by Ana Aiello, a #Connecticut mom of twins who believes everyone deserves a little luxury in life. Its beautiful showroom is located right in Groton, downstairs from Baby Go Round Inspired by her family and a love of coastal New England, Ana created A&Y to bring together softness, quality, and affordability. As a mom raising children with sensory needs, she understands how comfortable clothing—with no itchy tags—can make a huge difference in the morning dressing routine. The collection features buttery-soft, breathable bamboo fabric with a substantial feel, original coastal-inspired prints, and classic details. Styles include baby rompers, pajamas, and twirl dresses, with sizes ranging from newborn through age eight across the collection. A&Y’s original prints celebrate coastal charm and childhood wonder, creating pieces that feel special while remaining practical for everyday adventures. Each design reflects Ana’s love for families and the coastal community she calls home. A&Y Coastal Collective is excited to join the Mystic Chamber, connect with neighboring businesses, and share its one-of-a-kind designs with more local families. 333 Long Hill Road Groton, CT @mysticchamber New Member

EMERGING Professionals Relaunch Event at @mysticfishcamp was really a transformation and labor of love of our Event Director, Keith Padin. So, in order to recap this amazing event, we will hear from Keith, himself. "There's a lot to unpack here. So, stick with me. A few months ago I was sitting in the @mysticchamber office and asked what the benefit of our Young Professionals events were. We discussed a lot and I asked Chamber President @bsflax if I could run with a new idea I had for it. It was an immediate yes. And #MysticEmergingProfessionals got rocking. We decided to get a committee together and immediately Allison Smith came to mind from the @mysticseaportmuseum and a Board Member of the Chamber. She instantly said yes and became our Chair. Next we added Francisca from @secorautogroupct and Tori Heim from @chelseagrotonbank (and from my previous life working together at @athymetocook ) and along with my partner in crime, Megan, the dream team was assembled. We created a mission, benefits, and so much more. Next, we wanted at special kick-off event and @kathleenstandridge and @chefdavidstandridge welcomed the idea and offered up Mystic Fish Camp as the spot and themselves as guest speakers. It all came together and 40+ professionals showed up and the clipboard of EP signups was busy at the end of the night. I've never attended a networking event where A. when the guest speakers were on, every head was looking straight on and no side conversations were had. B. When they asked "any questions" we had many very thoughtful ones. C. When the raffle ended, no one left. Usually that's when the door starts swinging, but these folks stayed and continued fostering this new EP community. A hugely successful relaunch thanks to all the people I mentioned and so many more. But let's get back to this sign. Kathleen and David didn't just put us in a corner, they reserved the center of their busy restaurant for the event. And it wasn't a hand-written ripped piece of paper - it was a branded sign. The intentionality of all they do shows in every little detail and 40+ EPs left tonight with that message. I can't wait to see #WhatsNext. " - @keithatmysticchamber

We helped New Haven make pizza history. 🏆🍕 On September 12, 2025, 4,525 people came together for the largest pizza party ever recorded by Guinness World Records, and Big Green Truck Pizza made the pizza. That took six trucks, two trailers, 625 pies, and about 10,000 slices. Your fall party might be a little smaller, but we bring the same energy to every one. 🍂 Book your fall party or event at biggreentruckpizza.com

Community Proud, Celebrating Those That Live and Work Among Us! ❤️ Sponsored by Charter Oak Federal Credit Union @charteroakfcu Alisha Bliss Body By Bliss: Pilates & Personal Training @body_by_bliss Celebrating 10 years in business, Alisha has built more than a Pilates studio inside @the_velvetmill in @stoningtonboroughct . She’s created a welcoming community where clients can build strength, confidence, and meaningful connections through movement. With a background in engineering and a lifelong passion for #fitness, Alisha brings a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to #Pilates and strength conditioning. She continues to learn from her mentor, Sonje Mayo, who studied under Joseph Pilates, and is dedicated to providing quality instruction and preparing the next generation of Pilates teachers. But Alisha’s impact goes far beyond the studio! From supporting local fundraisers, animal rescues, food pantries, and women’s shelters to creating the free Step Up walking group and Fit & Lit Community Book Club, she believes wellness is about bringing people together. After moving to the @mysticct area in 2011, Alisha found a community that became home. Today, her clients and team are family, and her studio continues to make a difference in the lives of those it serves. Alisha credits many people with helping Body By Bliss reach its tenth anniversary. Her husband has served as the studio’s behind-the-scenes technology expert and handyman. He has also assembled equipment and moved countless items. Their families have supported the business throughout its journey. She is grateful to Dana Affinati and Tristen Taylor for encouraging her to pursue the idea. She also thanks Diane Armstrong and Tyler Page for their early support. Alisha credits her staff and studio manager Alex with bringing dedication and heart to the studio each day. Congratulations, Alisha, on 10 incredible years! Thank you for helping our community move stronger, feel better, and stay connected. 💙 To learn more about Alisha Bliss and previous @mysticchamber Community Proud recipients, go to: business.gomystic.org/community-proud-articles #CommunityProud #BodyByBliss #Connecticut
