There’s some experiences that stay with you. Mixing “The Sun Never Sets” in Alaska last year was definitely one of them. Here’s some shots I took during production.
The film is in theaters now, go see it. This is a good one. #thesunneversets

It's impossible to distill the entire experience of making a film, especially in a place like Alaska, into a series of images.

I couldn't be more proud of The Sun Never Sets. The film itself and the many that I feel privileged to make it with. Today is the day the world gets to see it, so here are some selects of candid shots and other fragments of this precious time last summer we ran the days down into an endless blue in order to make something really special.

If you haven't had a chance, please go see it somewhere in a theater near you. Thanks @independentfilmco for delivering this to the world. Thank you to everybody in these pictures and the rest who are not who made this thing happen, especially the people of Anchorage you made this all possible.

Filming THE SUN NEVER SETS right here in Anchorage, Alaska was such a major highlight of last year.

Loved getting to work with this amazing cast and crew. Everyone pushed through all the challenges of filming in city that never sees major film production, and made a freaking movie with a smile on their face. Even when it was raining sideways, or we were literally waiting for the sun to go down to get the shot - they made it such a fun experience.

I can’t wait to see Alaska on the big screen.

In march, Finn and I flew out west w the Blues to attend the oscars thanks to our sweetie pals @kelseymui & @jabm.jpeg 💘

Deeply in love on a swan boat in echo park, midnight movie at the beverly, sharing pickles at canter’s post-oscars, etc etc etc. how special, how sweet, moments that will last forever!

Last summer, I had a beautiful few days getting to document the making of The Sun Never Sets. What could have been a nerve racking experience quickly became all smiles thanks to this amazing cast and crew welcoming me in. I couldn’t have dreamed of a better time being on set for a movie like this. I can’t wait to see it come out next month!
