Our next seasonal gathering is here!
Join us on the long(ish) weekend for wines, oysters, funk and soul tunes and epic Spring vibes at our cellar door.
This time around we are collaborating with some dear, and terribly talented friends; Doug @miseenplace_wine and Mei @meiwamusic are travelling down from the Yarra for the day - Doug to pour his very fine wines, and Mei and her band to serenade us with some funk and soul tunes.
Long time Red Hill local and Oyster aficionado Belle @finnsoysterbar will be shucking Sydney Rock oysters to order and there’ll be curated toppings to match the wines.
Also back by popular demand will be @hopnationbeer Melbourne Blacks on tap 🍺

in issue 133, isabelle pearl love-dack (@isabellepearl) reflects on her career, grief, healing, motherhood and the beautiful legacy of finn’s oyster bar (@finnsoysterbar).

“a lot of people ask me: 'who's finn?' and then i'm forced to talk about it, which i think is a really healthy thing to do. it is still always hard. but i think it's a nicer way of being than just not talking about him.”

thank you, isabelle, for trusting frankie with your story ❤️ pick up a copy of issue 133 at your local supermarket or stockist to read the full piece.

some cute other shots with Teddy for the @frankiemagazine shoot (latest edition out now!) 💘 by @bobbydazzlerphotography 📸
If you’ve ever encountered me at a market or public event (sometimes even private events when I couldn’t find a babysitter) you’ll likely have met or know my daughter Teddy Peach 💕 she is the sassiest, most confident, independent, clever, deeply emotional, kind and beautiful force of nature who loves oysters and the stories about Finn her older brother and being part of my business! Everything I do, I do it for her 🙏🏻 she is the future 💫

Did I spend all my high school pocket money on this magazine? Did it shape the way I dress and my taste in music and written voice? Did the articles expand my world view and speak directly into my weird introvert indie girl heart? Why yes it did!

So imagine my excitement in getting my first @frankiemagazine photography commission. I got to photograph the amazing local entrepreneur and oyster whiz, Isabelle Love-Dack of @finnsoysterbar who has a deeply powerful story and the way she speaks allows for sadness and humour and the human experience to all be interwoven. @dellavreeland you shaped this story into an article with such tenderness. It’s beautiful and I feel so proud to have been part of it.

Now that’s a wrap! @groundedaustralia was officially our last multi-day event of the 2025/26 calendar season!

Our impact over the two day conference was pretty incredible:
🍽️ 4680 Plates, Bowls, Cups prevented from landfill
🍴 4500 cutlery items prevented from landfill
🗑️ 1.5 sqm landfill avoided
♻️ Hundreds of conversations about resource recovery & regenerative events
🌱 125L of organic waste diverted to @farm.my.school

While winter kicks in we are busy preparing for the next festival & events season - we can’t wait to share what we have in store! ♻️🌱

Every stallholder at the Geelong City Market has a story, and Bella from Finns Oyster Bar is serving up one worth savouring. 😋

She’s passionate about sharing why oysters are at their best in the cooler months, and how initiatives like the Shuck Don’t Chuck program are helping give shells a second life. ♻️

You’ll find Bella and a great lineup of local makers, growers and creators at the Geelong City Market every week. 🧺
