POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

At the first Production Camp-Out Weekend, a small group of artists, writers, and producers came together at Benalto Sound for studio sessions, shared meals, open collaboration, and time to follow ideas without forcing an outcome.

The scheduled sessions mattered. So did everything between them: conversations around the table, ideas carried into another room, and people listening closely to work that was still taking shape.

Camp-Out Weekend is one part of IAH Recording Club: Benalto Sound—a one-year membership built around protected creative time, an annual Artist Habitat, and relationships formed through shared work.

We have not shared much from the pilot until now. These images offer a first look at the kind of creative environment Recording Club is designed to sustain.

Mark your calendars as tomorrow is #bandcamp Friday. Artists receive 💯 of the proceeds earned off their music and merchandise. I’ll be highlight some artists to support via my stories tomorrow. ❤️

3 years ago today! I believe we were recording the “Christmas Can’t Be Far Away” EP. I have been debating recording some more Christmas tracks... Next time at @thesoundcastle

Feeling ultra #nostalgic this week. Last years @saskjazz was one for the books for me. To be asked by the @remaimodern to open before @questlove had his DJ set was a dream come true. This moment was built on the foundation of hard work and perseverance. My SK band members sacrificed their time to push the sound forward. Forever grateful for you guys. 🥰
