Had a really helpful conversation about leadership and thinking differently about leadership on Exploring Faith on @jamboradioscotland

@fionacstewart helpfully talked about positional vs postural leadership and here I share a bit of my journey to seeing myself as a leader and how @eapublicleadership programme helped with that.

You can find out more about the program and how to apply on the Evangelical Alliance website. Applications close on the 31st October

The Global Week of Prayer was so sacred and sweet. Join us as we revisit some of the special moments God graced us with.
Thank you to all who joined in various ways over the week, whether in prayer, worship, or pilgrimage, or lighting hundreds of candles and cutting out dozens of paper templates! We are particularly grateful to Whitekirk New Life Trust for sharing their beautiful building with us, and to the Parish of Traprain for hosting our prayers for Scotland at the end of the week and giving some weary pilgrims rest!
Special thanks also to the writers and 24-7 Prayer communities who sent us their prayers and poems. You gifted us with such riches and God spoke profoundly through your words @fionacstewart @brownpenni @247prayeryc @247prayerscotland River Church and Harriet of @stannesdunbar

Are you an emerging workplace leader who wants to explore how to live out your faith at work? Do you want to learn how to steward your career for Kingdom Impact?

The @evangelicalalliance @eapublicleadership programme might be for you.

This is a 12-month programme exploring what it means to be a Christian leader in public spheres, engaging with media and politics, exploring themes such as advocacy, society transformation and cultural renewal.

Here are some photos from our recent 2026 cohort trip to the Houses of Parliament.

Recruitment for the Jan 2027 cohort opens on Wednesday 16th September 2026.

Mission update: Dr Esther Cole
Network Catalyst for @kingdombusinessliverpool

On Tuesday 8th September 2026, all my worlds collided and we ended up with three invitations to the Houses of Parliament on the same day. As the song goes, 2 out of 3 ain't bad. Sadly we had to turn down the House of Lords invitation to focus on Kingdom Connecting for business / workplace ministry.

I joined @rev.peterjohn, chair of Workplace chaplaincy Mission UK for @gathermovement.uk's launch of their report 'HEART OF THE NEIGHBOURHOOD' exploring the role Churches and Christian organisations play in offering Faith-based social action to serve the community. This includes Christian social enterprise, a key part of #BusinessAsMission in the UK.

There were some incredible people gathered, many of whom I've had the privilege of meeting this year, including @everythingconference #ChurchWorks @welcomechurches @Biblesociety @evangelicalalliance and @hopeforjusticeintl as well as public leaders I've never met before.

I also met Jeremy and @estherhigham who I learnt were fellow Kingdom Business leaders. It was only afterwards that I realised I've listened to Esther's show on @premierradio several times and that's why she seemed so familiar!

In fact, @fionacstewart who leads the Evangelical Alliance Public Leader Programme for England would be appearing on Esther's radio show the next morning to talk about how applications for the 2027 @eapublicleadership programme would soon be opening.

An hour later, I joined my 2026 cohort of @eapublicleadership programme to go on a tour of the Houses of Parliament and meet some Christian MPs and hear their experience of living out their faith in the workplace, including the workplace group #ChristiansInParliament who organise the annual prayer breakfast.

I'd like to thank the Evangelical Alliance Public Leader Programme for giving me the confidence this year to embark on a journey into Public Leadership.

It's about building relationships and realising that living our faith isn't confined to the walls of a church building. It's Christians everywhere, in all spheres of society, stewarding their career and work for Kingdom Impact.

After two years of post production and countless hours of precision work from many individuals, we finally had the joy of screening Guardians of Loch Ness for the cast and crew.

Thank you so much to @odeoncinemas on Lothian Road for hosting us and to all the cast, crew and patrons who attended to make this an unforgettable night.

We simply CAN’T WAIT to share this film with the world.

Encouraging to have the opportunity to visit Quay House @bbc , and gather as a group of Christian leaders under the @evangelicalalliance Public Leadership Course.

It can be a breathe of fresh air to journey with others that are trying to bring Jesus' positive counter-culture to our homes, streets and communities! Fantastic to hear of those in the BBC putting their faith into action in the workplace.

Thankyou!
