There are some wedding days that just feel special from the moment you arrive. 🤍✨

Today was one of them.

My first time at @theweaskuinn and I was completely in awe. The grounds, the river, the historic charm, every little corner of this venue felt like it belonged in a storybook.

But as beautiful as the setting was, the people somehow made the day even better. 🥹

Such a beautiful family, the sweetest bride, and an incredible group of vendors all coming together to create something truly special. These are the wedding days that remind me just how much I love what I do.

Creating beautiful bridal hair in a place like this? Ahhh, take my breath away! An absolute dream. 🤍

And yes… I will absolutely be finding my way back to Weasku Inn. ✨

C + E’s Oregon wedding was a little bit autumn, a little bit garden party.

Imagine getting married along the river with the trees turning, peach and apricot florals against deep greens, colorful bridesmaid dresses, and your favorite people gathered around you.

It’s champagne towers, riverside portraits, breaking the glass and hearing “Mazel Tov!” ring out from your people, then letting the music carry everyone onto the dance floor.

A little elegant, a little relaxed, with the kind of warm Oregon evening that makes you want to stay outside just a little longer.

And the getaway car on the last slide? Giving old-school romance meets Oregon summer nights. →

This girl deserved a PARTY after one wild ride - so that’s exactly what she got! 🤠🌵🏜️

I truly can’t thank our friends and family enough for the ways you’ve shown up - and continue to show up - for us and our girl. We felt so incredibly loved, and Everest was absolutely spoiled on her first birthday. 💗

A special thank you to everyone who stayed home if you were sick or had been exposed to illness, and to those who happily threw on a mask so you could meet Ev! I know masks aren’t everyone’s favorite thing, but those small acts of kindness help keep her safe, and they mean more to us than you know.

For those who weren’t there to witness the grand finale - it wouldn’t have been an Anderson production without at least ONE medical emergency. 😅

As we were getting ready to take family pics with Ev, Zach realized her suction machine wasn’t working.

For those who don’t know, her suction machine clears the secretions from her trach that she can’t cough up on her own. Without it, the secretions can build up and make it difficult/impossible for her to breathe. She usually needs suctioned every 15–20 minutes, and we had no idea how long the machine was losing power before it completely gave up.

Those who stayed to help clean pivoted to trying to trouble shoot the machine while I was on the phone with our DME company… who couldn’t get ahold of their on-call respiratory therapist. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Meanwhile, Medical Office Manager Grandma Angie was calling a local DME to find a backup, while I was simultaneously tracking down the on-call pulmonologist to send over a prescription - because you can’t just pick up a life sustaining suction machine on a Saturday night without one, apparently.

3 hours later, we found out the answering service had the wrong phone number for the on-call RT. 🤡 The only reason I finally reached her was because I had an old message from her and called directly after figuring out who they had been trying to contact.

She had a replacement suction machine to us within about an hour and a half!

Never a dull freakin’ moment. 🤠

It truly does take a village, and ours showed up in the biggest way. We won’t ever forget it. 🥹❤️
