Day 14 of ACL Surgery: Officially two weeks post my surgery, which means I can now put weight on my leg! Some big victories to celebrate; went back to school this week, it was exhausting but was great to see my friends and teachers, went on a small field trip with my medical assistant class, drove for the first time since my surgery and lastly I took my first steps on my leg since the injury. I haven’t fully walked in almost a month. It was hard, don’t fully trust my knee yet, and need to build up my quad strength, but still happy with my progress! Celebrating the small victories!!!! #GodsPlan #FaithoverFear #ACLRecovery

I will be working hard this weekend showing up during my last stretch of softball this fall. This will be 1 of 5 showcases and I am ready mentally to give it all I got. Please cover us in prayer. That we would stand out on the field , meet the right coaches for our life, and find favor. I’m ready!!

Fall Signing Day!

These two amazing catchers @avery6_softball and @harleigh_softball3 signed their flags to be added to the practice facility! We are so proud of all the work these two have put in to get to this point, and we know they will be great at the next level!

A special moment yesterday, got to sign my @firestorm_softball flag and hang it up in my clubs training facility. Thank you @meridian_aces_18u for everything you’ve done for me and helping me achieve my dream of playing college softball. #RollStorm #AcesAllIn

Day 6 of ACL Surgery. Had my first PT appointment today, felt so good to finally get out of the house. Really happy with my numbers for my first appointment, but still trying to get my quad activated again. So frustrating cause I know I can do it and it’s something so simple, but my brain just isn’t sending the signal. Focusing on the small victories today. #GodsPlan #FaithoverFear #ACLRecovery #RollStorm

Day 3 of ACL surgery. The last two days were extremely difficult. Struggled with intense pain and trying to manage that, struggled with not being able to move my leg freely or on my own, struggling with trying to straighten my knee without pain, and this weekend my team played a tournament and it was the first time I’ve missed a tournament in over 4 years. I didn’t realize I’d struggle with that as much as I did. But today I have some victories worth celebrating! I got my bandages removed, my pain is manageable, I was able to make huge progress with straightening my knee without pain, and I am able to get out of bed a lot more easily. Doing everything I can to stay focused on the small victories, and continuing to work as hard as I can. #GodsPlan #FaithoverFear #ACLRecovery

ACU Bound! 🤍

I am extremely excited and honored to announce my verbal commitment to continue my education and softball career at Arizona Christian University!

It has been a tiring but incredibly rewarding process, and I am very blessed to be able to say my process is complete! I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue growing in my education, skills, mentality, and my faith!

First and foremost, I would like to thank my parents for the overnight trips, endless nights, long hours, and many years of support throughout this journey. Without them none of this would be possible.

I would also like to thank my teammates, who have become lifelong friends. And to my siblings for showing up to many of my games and cheering me on. Also my many supporters throughout my family!!

A huge thank you to all the coaches who have helped me grow in my mindset and skills.
-Coach Dan who’s team I recently joined has pushed me and helped guide me through this last stretch of my process.
-Coach Shawn who got me in contact with ACU and was the core part of my recruiting process.
-My sister Kayli, My Dad, and my Uncle Jeff, for guiding me through high school season and helping me with the mental aspect of the game.
-Thank you to ALL my past and present coaches.

And last but certainly not least a HUGE thank you to Coach Mayben, the whole Firestorm staff, and all the players for giving me this amazing opportunity and already being so welcoming and kind towards me!

ACU, I’ll see you soon!!
