It is always a privilege to learn from those who have cultivated a life of fellowship with the Lord. Thank you, Pst @femiokunuga for reminding us that ministry begins with serving the Lord, and true worship extends beyond the songs we sing to the lives we live. Thank you for a time of deep insight, realignment, and impartation. We leave wiser, challenged, and more intentional about ministering unto the Lord.

CLF FAMILY SONG

The year was 1988 and Taiwo, myself and many others were members of the Christ Love Fellowship (CLF) at the University of Ife (Now Obafemi Awolowo University) in Ile Ife, Southwest Nigeria.

I had been toying with the idea of composing an anthem that we could all sing at the end of every fellowship but nothing came and I could not force it. Then one day, at the sports centre, it was a normal rehearsal of the choir (Praise Creation) and then it came flowing. I quickly got different people to remember the words and the parts and voila, we had it.

The first day we presented it to the entire fellowship remains one of the most memorable days of my life. I did not know exactly how it was going to be received but then without telling anyone what to do, people held hands and then the very last line where we sing ‘THE CHRIST LOVE FAMILY” everyone raised their hands up together. It was such a spectacle to behold and now nearly 40 years later in 2026, not only does the family song tradition still go on but anytime I receive visitors who were members of CLF - no matter what year they were in CLF, we go into my study and we happily sing the family song again.

Recently, we had the amazing Fisayo Odebode, another member of the CLF family, visit us in Nairobi, and we had the privilege of having her lead us in singing the family song.

It is such a blessing that what came as a simple idea to have an anthem has endured. We sang it and the generation of my children also sang it and if Jesus tarries my grandchildrens generation will also sing it.

You will never know how deep the impact of your actions can go. This is why we should just step out in faith and do whatever God puts in our heart to do. A simple idea in 1988 is still blessing people in 2026!

Praise be to God for He is good and His mercy endureth forever.

Have a wonderful Sunday and a blessed new week!#drwaleakinyemi #faith #love #family #friendship

It is always a joy when we get to experience those who have been with the Lord. The presence of God was so real and the word so rich. Thank you for a time of realignment and recentering, for showing through your life what a sacrifice of praise is.

We are so blessed by you Desirae.

You came embodying a message of gentle sincerity; it was not just words, it was a timely reminder that performance is not the way to the Heavenly Father’s heart, but the acceptance of His Love. Thank you Sir, @iyanutade We hope to see you again soon.

If there is a cry that is being echoed through the body of Christ in this season, it is a call to righteousness; you gave a clarion call to holiness and its vitality to us.

What a grace you are, and we say a big thank you. 💯🤍

What a beautiful expression of worship, and what a joy to witness all that God did. Above everything else, we are grateful to the Lord for His presence, for the atmosphere of worship, and for every moment He allowed us to experience together.

This is more than a recording. It is a testimony of what happens when hearts come together in worship and surrender.

OPEN HEAVENS, indeed. 🤍

This is indeed the day that the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. 🤍

Today, we celebrate a milestone we once only imagined.
The Worship School Inaugural Graduation. 🎓

Three months of learning.
Three months of stretching.
Three months of worship, conversations, assignments, projects, challenges, growth and formation.

And we are so blessed to have Pastor @boyeoloyede as our Keynote Speaker as we celebrate our Inaugural Graduating Class, made up of worship leaders, musicians and creatives who chose to intentionally invest in their growth, not only in skill, but in identity, spiritual formation, leadership, excellence and ministry.

We have watched them learn, create, ask questions, collaborate, serve and grow.

And today, we are reminded that formation is intentional.
This is more than the completion of a programme.
It is a moment of commissioning.

A reminder that what God has formed in us is meant to be carried beyond the classroom; into churches, teams, studios, stages, communities and wherever He sends us.

To our students: we are proud of you. We honour your journey, and we believe there is so much more ahead.

To our faculty, mentors, partners, guests and everyone who has poured into this journey — thank you for believing in the vision and helping us build something that will outlive this moment.
And above all, to God be all the glory.

The Worship School is officially graduating its first class.

1 journey.
A lifetime of sound, service and impact ahead.

Welcome to the next chapter.
