The Texas tour continued onto Texoma today! I can’t thank my boy @fishinsanity enough for talking me into coming fishing today instead of just going home. Was able to leave some baits with him that will be available in @lakeprotackle very soon! John’s also a guide on out on Texoma, and he is super super dialed. I mean he told me we were gonna put the trolling motor down and be on the fish, and we were. Lots of super sick active feeding going on out there right now if you are in the area and want to learn how to throw glide baits and other big swim baits I’d seriously recommend hitting John up for a trip. Texoma offers a variety of species, and styles of fishing from what I can tell. We had big smallmouth chasing the baits to the boat, stripers, spotted bass, and of course largemouth on cool high percentage spots. I got one more day left, hitting a lake where I have a really good shot at a super big bite to cap this adventure off on! #fisheverything

Scorpitail from Biwaa should be on your radar. Highly versatile and gets bit in so many applications, not just as an incredible soft jerkbait, or on a dropshot, etc
but as a trailer on my favorite buzzers. I love the very little secondary action and lack of resistance when burning a buzzbait over thick veggies, wood, or pads

THEY NEED BOATERS!

I don’t care what you think of your fishing abilities, take these kids out for a couple hours of fishing. Sometimes they literally just want to ride around in the boat.

John had this young man catching crappie and sand bass and I think he was happier than a grown man catching a 10lb+ bass.

You thinking you’re going to help give a
kid a special experience but really,
it’s the other way around.

Just do it. For the kids.
