Update: I am having a really hard time. 🫠 With my last scan we learned that some of the spots on my abdominal wall have grown and I can’t help but assume it’s because I took/had a 6 week break.
💉I’ve been taking shots to boost my white blood cell count and that causes bone pain in addition to the joint pain from the chemo. Thankfully Dr. Lin dropped my immunotherapy for now cuz that was causing muscle pain on top of everything else and my normal pain management wasn’t cutting it.
🫂I always think of Matt. I miss the connection we shared every day. While Jordan and I were in NYC we were able to visit his grave and hang out with him for a bit. My biggest regret was forgetting to bring bird seed with us but we brought a speaker to play Matt songs we wanted to show him. Jordan and I took this picture while hanging out with Matt. I miss him so much more when I’m having a hard time. Trying to talk to online cancer support groups has had mixed results, tho it’s usually more off-putting than helpful for me.
I miss my cancer bestie and so far as I can tell I’m. Stuck on this ride. ☣️ Two people smiling at the camera. A field of grass can be seen behind them as well as a pile of flowers. The bottom of a cross marking a grave is visible beside the flowers. A birdfeeder hangs from a stand next to the cross.

🌟 Start the New Year with Purpose 🌟

As we step into 2025, let’s take time to honor those we’ve lost to cancer and show support for the loved ones left behind. 🖤

Our 12th annual Winter Challenge, which challenges you to run or walk at least one mile each day in January, now has many imitators, but ours is the only where 100% of proceeds go to charity. 🎗️

Our challenge isn’t just about resolutions; it’s about resilience, remembrance, and making a difference. 🧡 Every step you take and every dollar raised will help in the fight against cancer.

🤲 Together, we can move forward in hope and strength. Let’s make January about more than resolutions—let’s make it about impactful change.

Forgot to post my VERY crafty DIY Halloween costume!! We were Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood, which gave me a great excuse to make some crazy chunky jewelry and paint some glasses frames. The big bead in the middle is actually a ping-pong ball! (Please note: my ill-fated weather necklace was supposed to be the center piece of this look, but sometimes you have to adapt…)

A fun acrylic waterscape colab with @mfbirdpics - Matt contributed some bushes and the Great Egret. At 18x24in, this is one of the bigger pieces I’ve done. Should we add a family of ducks in the grassy foreground?
