HOKA Cielo X1 3.0 speed session ⤵️

✔️5.5Km warm-up
✔️5 x 800m @ half marathon pace with 400m easy + 2Km half marathon pace (8Km)
✔️1.5Km cool-down

On today's run, I felt I really had to control the shoe's energy return, making sure it translated into forward propulsion rather than excessive vertical bounce. The key was directing that energy horizontally, pushing me forward rather than upwards. It's definitely Hoka's fastest shoe to date, if only they can make it lighter and slightly more stable 🚀🚀🚀

SAYSKY Tiger Grind II Fit Check 🐅🐯🐅

Watch till the end for a little BONUS 👀

The Tiger Grind II drop channels that spirit with a black tiger camo all-over print, dominated by a bold reflective grey tiger. Each motif was hand-drawn by SAYSKY founder @larscpedersen - adding a raw and personal signature to the story. The tiger is a symbol of persistence, hunger, and untamed strength. Oversized and fearless, it carries the mantra “Stay hungry, keep chasing” as both mindset and design.

Because greatness is not built in the spotlight. It’s earned in the grind, step by step, long before anyone is watching.

Asics SONICBLAST 2 - Post Long-run thoughts 👟

20km progressive (see pic 2 📸) felt exactly like what the Sonicblast 2 is made for. The FF TURBO² + FF BLAST MAX midsole stacking at 46mm to 38mm definitely has what it takes to give the needed protection on long distances! The ASTROPLATE adds the propulsion when picking up the pace.

It felt comfortable during the initial slow part of the run when paces where slower and shifted naturally through the gears the faster the run progressed! I did not feel the needed push at the end though when pace came close to 4min/km, might be coming from the fact that my legs were tired at that point 😊

Overall a pleasant ride and will definitely use it for progressive long-runs 🚀

From the series running is not just about running 💪 BULGARIAN SPLIT SQUAT 🦵🔥

One of the most effective unilateral exercises for building lower-body strength, stability and control for runners 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃‍♂️

✅ Position: Elevate your rear foot and keep your front foot firmly planted

✅ Descent: Flex your front hip and knee in a controlled manner, lowering your rear knee towards the floor

✅ Alignment: Keep your front knee tracking in line with your toes and maintain a stable pelvis

✅ Drive: Push through your front foot to extend your hip and knee, returning to the starting position

🎯 Primary muscles: Quadriceps, gluteus maximus and adductors, with the hamstrings and core contributing to stability

💡 Remember: Prioritise control, balance and range of motion over added weight

Master the movement before increasing the load!
