How do you start your gym session?

Do you walk on the treadmill for 10 minutes and then head straight to the weights?

Walking is a great way to get your body moving, but it doesn’t prepare every joint and muscle for the workout ahead.

Here’s a look at how I begin every personal training session.

We focus on three things: hip and spinal mobility, scapular retraction and TVA activation.

Why? Because better mobility allows you to move well.

Every movement is selected with your body, fitness level, and goals in mind.

Your workout should be as intentional as your goals.

Ready to train with purpose? Let’s connect.

On Wednesdays we wear pink 💁🏾‍♀️ … and orange! 🩷🧡

And apparently, we reset too. 😌 I caught a vibe at Xia Aesthetics & Wellness Mom Reset event this morning! @xia_wellness & @xia_wellness.ginger

Yoga outside. 🌿🧘🏾‍♀️
Refreshing conversations. 🎙️
New connections. 🫶🏾✨
Business talk. 👩🏾‍💼💻
And a little time to just slow down and enjoy the moment. 😮‍💨

I also got a Volt 360 Body Scan with @hannah_swope , Personal Trainer at @fitflex.training , and that was such a cool experience! Getting a little more insight into what’s going on with my body was definitely part of the reset. 💪🏾✨

And the coffee?! Whew. 😮‍💨☕️ @nostalgicsips.co came through with a Maple Brown Sugar Latte and CHILE…it was absolutely delicious. 🤎

A little movement. A little networking. A little coffee. A whole lot of vibes! Exactly the kind of reset I needed. ✨👏🏾🙌🏾
