When you can go through life with someone by your side, never take it for granted, because who knows what a day may bring. ♾️ #thankyoulordgodforeverything

A day in my life, but make it "producing a dinner for 50 women." *locks in*

9am in a spreadsheet and some water. Gotta stay hydrated! 11am is a huddle with our Curators walking the conversation tracks. 3pm is the part nobody notices unless it's missing: place cards, candles, the details. And 6pm is my favorite minute of the entire day-it makes all the hard work worth it-fifty strangers walk-in and by the time The Ace starts, they're not strangers anymore.

This is what goes into every In Good Company evening before a single guest arrives.

September 17. Tampa Bay. Link in Bio 🎉.

Not sick. Not hanging on — living. Gardening, walking to see friends, sharp and laughing in their nineties.

Researchers call them Blue Zones. And when they went looking for the secret, they didn’t find a superfood or a supplement. They found a rhythm:

Mostly plants. Natural movement. Rest without apology. A reason to rise. A faith community. People who love you, for life.

Sister… read that list again. You already recognize it. 🤍

It’s the life God laid out from the very beginning. Secular scientists spent decades finding what was written down in Genesis. The research isn’t news to women like us — it’s confirmation.

This November, we’re taking a small circle of Christian women to one of those five Blue Zones — the Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica — for six days to actually live it. Plant-based meals, morning movement, herbal + feminine wellness, devotionals, and sisterhood that stays with you long after you fly home.

Because retreat doesn’t mean defeat. It means withdrawing — pulling back so you can be filled and sent back out. Even Jesus withdrew to lonely places to rest. 🕊️

Swipe through the story, then read the full letter on the blog (link in bio).

Come exhale where people live longest.

Magz came to her first BFITT retreat looking for community. She left with something so much deeper — the blessing of true sisterhood in Christ.
This August, come find yours. 🌿

There’s something so powerful about being in a room full of women who genuinely want to see each other grow.. 🥹🖤

I was honored to be nominated by my girl Jaq I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside in the beauty industry to attend this incredible women in business networking dinner hosted by Jacqueline, Britt, and Fadaka at FDK co!

Nights like these remind me that success isn’t just about what you build.. it’s also about the relationships, conversations, and community you build along the way.

If you’re a woman in business (or aspiring to be one), getting in the right rooms can truly change everything.

Comment “Tampa” below for women networking events happening around the Tampa area! 👀

✨ Sometimes the best opportunities come when you’re willing to make an exception.

Those who know me know that I usually don’t go out during the workweek. Between being a wife, mom, working full-time, and building the LME EMPIRE 😇 my schedule stays pretty full.

But when I was nominated for a seat at the table for the In Good Company Network – Joyfully event, I knew this was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up ☺️

I had the privilege of sitting alongside the host @fdkco.thetable and cohosts @jac.que.linda @fittbritt23 and so many inspiring, accomplished, and purpose-driven women. We laughed, shared our testimonies, exchanged ideas, and built genuine connections.

There was something so refreshing about being in a room where faith, purpose, and business could ALL exist together. It reminded me that you don’t have to compromise your values to pursue your dreams.

One thing I took away from this experience is that your next opportunity may be one conversation away 🥰

NEVER underestimate the power of showing up where God leads you.

A very special thank you to @blkhippyceo the wonderful person who nominated me for this opportunity. Thank you for seeing something in me and believing I deserved a seat at that table. Your kindness means more than you know, and I truly appreciate you.

I left encouraged, inspired, refreshed and already looking forward to the next In Good Company event 😁. Until then, I’ll continue building, serving, and making room at my own table for others.

Here’s to faith-filled women, meaningful connections, and walking confidently in the purpose God has for each of us.

Oh yeah @rosenheim_restaurant save me a table because I will be back with fam 🥰 the food, service and atmosphere 10/10🤍

Going back home.

I could smell it. The nostalgia. It smelled warm. It felt cool, like autumn. The Nostalgia of running through the alleys and getting candy at the corner store. The nostalgia of falling and breaking a bone or busting your chin 😉. The nostalgia of going to Aunties house down the street for sweet tea and sprite.

Even winning the state championship.

And to think, Lord, you SURELY have brought us a mighty, mighty long way. Thank you for keeping us through it all.

Have you been HOME lately?
