The community really showed up in a big way to support music, art, culture and small businesses in Downtown Montebello! It’s because of your support that we are able to produce such amazing free events for the community. Also, this is just the beginning! We’re working behind the scenes to produce more events, more programming and more content to highlight the amazing Downtown Community! Stay Tuned!

All the tired nights and sacrifices given through each fire place since birth is a beautiful gift to be given by my parents, hearing songs and the fire crackling throughout the night as people cry and rejoice, I’ve learned there’s no joy without the pain, there’s no humility if you know everything, the hurt and destruction helps us to summon our ability to walk within the beauty and the protection of Iiná (life n creation), through the mistakes we make we gain strength and empowerment, without failure there is no success, to fall and be destroyed brings knowledge and wisdom if we take accountability and humble ourselves. To be apart of creation we have to submit ourselves to nothing in order to be apart of everything….. For years, my story was told through rhythm. Now it’s expanding through my voice, my songs, and a new chapter in acting.

Introducing Reserva de la Casa — a coffee collection dedicated to coffees we not only love, but that inspire us to keep learning, roasting, and doing what we do.

From Colombia para el mundo. 🇨🇴

For our first release, producer Oswaldo Toro of Finca Los Cedros brings us a Thermal Shock Washed Sidra Bourbon. Oswaldo has developed his approach with knowledge learned from Néstor Lasso, resulting in a coffee that’s complex, vibrant, and seriously delicious.

NOCHE SONORA 🌙

For one night only, @montebellolive is closing down the street for a FREE outdoor concert and activating the block with art, food, and culture alongside some of our amazing Downtown Montebello creative businesses.

@themccharmlys_ and @loschicosdelmambo will play live on 6th Street, with DJ sets by @heartsinhereyes and Gio of @rincontropicalny throughout the night.

There will also be an outdoor beer garden and special cultural activations at Cuarto Central, Cafe Santo, and BLVD MRKT, including pop-ups by @masticacalifornia , @elmarchante @oeste.studio @hechobycaye , and art exhibit by @saon.kashem .

Bring your family, come hungry, and get ready to walk, explore, or dance your way around our beautiful Downtown Montebello.

This event is all ages, pet-friendly, FREE, and open to everyone.

Stamp of Courage: A Journey of Sacrifices and Dreams

Assimilation, the struggle of trying to fit in, or washing away the culture of our ancestors have always been a struggle from the beginning of our journey here in the United States. “Stamp of courage” is a beautiful mark, a unique scar, a unique story that all of us carry with us. This exhibit talks to those first and second generations who have these same scars in the same location. Though the scars look very different, they experience the same push back and the struggles to fit in, and most of all the courage to still keep going to reach for their dreams brings these individuals together.

Thanks to the City of Montebello, Hilda Solís and Cuarto Central( @cuarto.central )for helping make this exhibition possible.
