Three weeks gone since @bigbruefestival ; the dust settles, and the photos are downloaded ( thanks @maxmilliganpersonal @flagsandmoss ) the memories settle already into something like nostalgia for that unique vibe of the moment, a spirit of creativity, fun, good will and energy that perhaps can never be replicated ? #weekendfestival #ideas

In light of the 'protests' at Dover and Portsmouth.

This wave of fearful idiocy wouldn't be anything like what it is without the billionaires' anti-human agenda, and the human scrapings who are surfing on it.

F** Elon. F** Farage, Stephen Waxy-Lemon and the rest. Love and solidarity to anyone having made that terrible journey across the continents and seas.

Finally touched down and unpacked from Medicine Festival. ✨

I honestly think this has been my best festival experience in many years. I’m so grateful to my wonderful photography partner, @venetiadearden , and to the photo project we’ve been creating together over the last few years. It has been such an incredible journey.

We’ve had so many fascinating people and Wisdom Keepers come through our studio, each with their own story, energy and perspective. It’s been a privilege to capture just a little piece of that.

A very special shout-out to our amazing crew who helped make it happen this year — especially Remo, our brilliant retoucher and ever-present voice of reason! 😂

And a huge thank you to all the Medicine crew who supported us, helped us along the way and made the whole festival happen. We are so grateful.

We’re now very excited to head away, immerse ourselves in the edit and continue bringing this project to life. Hopefully we’ll be able to share the finished work with you all in the not-too-distant future.

For now, here are a few photographs I grabbed on my phone throughout the week.

What a journey. What a festival. What a beautiful bunch of people. 🌿✨

There is a kind of magic that occurs when a creative vision comes home to the land that inspired it. ✨

Recently, we gathered in the wild meadows and ancient woodland alongside the River Teign for a truly magical shoot. We played hide-and-seek with the weather, but our incredible photographers @flagsandmoss turned the temperamental light into a cinematic story.

At the heart of the shoot was our new collection: a luxurious selection of our finest handmade silk and cashmere scarves, woven so delicately that sunlight filtered right through the intricate patterns. We also managed to capture the new Mini Nomad collection, the spirit of the clothes coming alive as the girls played barefoot amid the bluebells and long grass. Crafted from soft, block-printed cottons designed for wandering, this collection is available exclusively at La Paloma in Ibiza @lapalomaibiza lapalomaibiza

This day was also a deeply personal milestone. I felt incredibly moved to have three generations represented in the meadow together—joined by my wonderful mama, Lilly, and my beautiful daughter, Namaya.

A heartfelt thank you to the dream team who made magic happen: Mags, Floss, Ruby, Katherine, Namaya, and Suki. And of course our beloved Dartmoor pony Gracie. Work should always be this much fun! 🥰🌾

Head to the link in our bio to read the full journal post and sneak a peek at the new collection.

To celebrate the release of 'Relics of Tree Worship (In Dub)' - the debut album from the CHANT Artist Collective - our founder, Daniel Morrell, spent an afternoon with iconic photographer @magnusdennis @flagsandmoss in the lead up to our recent album launch event.

Styled by the brilliance of @benedictlamb of @lighthouse_soho in the very jacket (Anthro Galaxy) worn by @themandalorian in the upcoming movie.

Featuring the CHANT Artist Collective: @youthmartin @gaudimusic the late Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry alongside @kemet_leveridge @lettsdon @daniemorrell and @planetman.world, the record blends dub, ambient textures, spoken word and ritual chant into a meditation on trees as cultural, spiritual and ecological anchors.

The album’s ‘Vision Tree’ artwork was originally created by Jamie Reid in the 1990s and revisited for this project, one of his final creative works. Courtesy of the Jamie Reid Estate and John Marchant Gallery, the image anchors the project in a lineage of British countercultural art, extending Balance Recordings environmental ethos into visual form.

Space Punk is an art movement and genre "downloaded from the future" - specifically 100 years ahead - bringing with it the solutions and ideals of a future century. It carries the "anybody can have a go" DIY ethos of original Punk Rock. In the Space Punk world, if you know what you are doing, you turn up and take part.

Balance Recordings is a SPACE PUNK eco-label powered by Balance Eco, a first-of-its-kind platform that moves beyond the traditional concept of carbon offsetting. Rather than focusing on the "guilt" of offset, Balance emphasises the "joy of balance" - a proactive approach to regeneration. Balance creates a three-pillar approach, combining biodiversity and social economics with the fight against climate breakdown. These three issues are intimately interconnected; Balance operates on the principle that it is inappropriate to deal with them in isolation.

The album is available to own now on CD, double coloured eco vinyl, and a limited edition (1 of 100) signed vinyl. Get yours at shop.balancerecordings.com or visit the link in bio.

But I think you can deal with it cos we're much more intelligent than people assume. ☀️
