Summer tracks in Swedish Lapland.

Been working on a special project for @arctic_lines this season and finalizing some fun clips in the north lately. Mostly solo, just like this shot here.

Splitboarded up the mountain alone, launched the drone, and hoped for the best to catch a moment. Stoked on how the turns ended up linking up nicely in the frame.

💸Koska kaikki maksaa ja nuorella yrittäjällä ei ole kaikkeen rahaa, olen viimeiset neljä vuotta kituuttanut sivuilla, jotka todennäköisesti ovat enemmänkin karkottaneet asiakkaita, kuin tuoneet niitä 😅🤟

It has been 6 years since my Dutch colleague Camiel Zwart suggested cooperation and the seed of this film was germinated. Now, I’m really touched to bring the film to CinedansFest Amsterdam, to Camiel’s home town.

💖 Camiel, your spirit still warms our hearts.

Laura is a Skolt Sámi woman who crew up outside the Sámi community. She is reaching out to her Sámi roots by learning the steps of the quadrill dance. The same steps that her Grandmother mastered.

I was invited to keynote the closing seminar of the Alvar Aalto Jubilee Year in Rovaniemi at the Arctic Circle in Lapland, Finland. As part of the final Jubilee Week, I also hosted a 6-episode video/podcast series about the significance of architect Alvar Aalto’s work in the city completely destroyed in the aftermath of WW2. Five of the podcasts/videos are in Finnish with English subtitles, and one is in English with Finnish subtitles. The English one will be published on YouTube and Spotify on February 2. This one is the fourth episode.
