Had the privilege of watching one of Flexxi’s partners, @ali.benter, on a panel last week about what happens to design when agents write the code. Short version: your spec becomes the product. When AI handles more of the build, ambiguity gets expensive. A detail a teammate would quietly figure out on their own turns into a bug or a completely different experience. What stayed with me: → Specs are engineering artifacts now, not handoff docs
→ Recovery workflows matter as much as the original prompt
→ Engineering teams are adapting incredibly fast Taste and clarity matter more than ever.

We said we’d do it again. We did 🔥 Hosting these dinners has become one of my favorite things we do at Flexxi 🖤 There’s something about a small room, good food, and zero agenda that just works. No one’s performing. No one’s pitching. Everyone actually just…talks 😅 Last Thursday in SF, right after Config wrapped, we hosted an intimate dinner with product and marketing leaders from some of the best teams in tech 💪🏼 Here’s what I keep coming back to: the best part of this industry is the people in it. They just need a reason to be in the same room. We want to create that reason. Stay tuned, we definitely want to have more of these coming… If you want in next time, DMs are open…spots fill fast and we keep it intentionally small 😎

Bringing together a room full of creatives, founders and product people to talk about what it really means to build a creative business from zero: the messy parts, the pivots, the ideas that only make sense once you start moving. This kind of collaboration is exactly what I hoped @flexxi.studio would become: not just a platform or a product, but a place where creative people can meet, learn from each other and build something that feels genuinely useful 🙌🏼 Huge thank you to @thatguydidi for opening the space and to everyone who came, asked questions, shared ideas and made the room feel alive 💪🏼 Follow for more content 🚀 📸 @bar.cohen.photo

A little behind-the-scenes magic ✨ from last night’s Grillside Chat x @flexxi.studio, co-hosted with the one and only @thatguydidi. We brought together founders, product leaders, and design minds for an evening of honest conversation around the biggest questions shaping our industry right now: How do we continue to elevate craft (and stay human) while scaling faster than ever? Somewhere between the grilled food, sunset views, and passionate debates… strangers became collaborators, ideas turned into opportunities, and everyone left a little more inspired than they came. The best part? Just really smart people having real conversations. More of this please. 🔥 Follow @allieflexxi for insights on AI-powered design, talent without borders, and building a global brand from zero.

They say mastery takes 10,000 repetitions. They also say insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results. Not sure which one this is, but we’ve now recorded over 25 episodes of Flexxible By Design, the official podcast of @flexxi.studio 🎙️ Dropping some of my all time favorite BTS moments to remind ourselves that coloring outside the lines can get messy 🧶 #designstudio #buildinpublic #entrepreneurtips

What does the day in the life of a founder look like? 👇🏻 It’s client calls from coffee shops, tons of networking events, and conversations that might turn into something six months from now… It’s Miami tech week one day and back to your desk the next…but this is the work 💪🏼 The messy, exhausting, exciting work of building something from nothing 🚀 If you’re building too…you’re not alone in the chaos😅

Design Studio Guide: How we sign clients at Flexxi ⬇️ — (1) We don’t position ourselves as an “agency” Early on, that label didn’t feel right. We’re closer to an embedded design partner, working inside product teams rather than outside of them. That shift alone completely changed the type of conversations we started having. — (2) We optimized for speed + clarity, not hours or scope Most agencies sell hours. Clients wants predictable costs, and no client wants to hear “sorry, this is our of scope.” Instead, We focus on embedding ourselves seamlessly into teams that move at the speed of their products and recalibrate as the business changes. We move fast, unblock teams, and help decisions happen. That’s what clients actually come to us for. — (3) We built our offer around how product teams actually work Not big handoffs or long timelines. More like daily collaboration, async feedback, and quick iterations, basically fitting into their workflow, not the other way around. — (4) We stopped leading with everything we could do We used to present branding, web, and product as a flat list — it read as ‘versatile’ but versatile isn’t a value prop. Now product design is the anchor, and brand and web extend from that same thinking. Same capabilities, sharper story. — (5) We use AI internally… a lot Not as a gimmick, from project management to inspiration it enables us to move faster and remove repetitive work. Clients don’t always see it directly, but they definitely feel it in the speed and quality of the output. — Still refining all of this as we grow, but this is what’s been working for us so far. If you’re running a studio or leading a team, curious what’s worked on your side 👀
