It’s World Photography Day and we want to celebrate the incredible photographers who capture our work, our clients, and those major milestone moments in beautiful, timeless imagery. At EARLY PR we pride ourselves on wordsmithing, strategizing, and bridging connections, but behind some of our most powerful stories and milestones, we’ve collaborated with some of Portland’s best! From our impactful work with the DOJ to the Williams and Russell CDC groundbreaking, from our own EARLY PR brand shoot to our unforgettable Spring Slumber Party – these talented Portland photographers have been there, documenting it all with artistry and vision. On World Photography Day, we’re thrilled to spotlight these amazing creatives who happen to call Portland home. Each brings a unique perspective and undeniable talent to every frame. Take a moment to explore their incredible portfolios – you won’t be disappointed. Seen @flimediainc I had the privilege of meeting @sunflowerz_heals when she held a 6 week group healing space for Black Women 3…maybe 4 summers ago. I was super timid. Quite. Didn’t share a lot or talk very much but I came every Saturday. Then one day, she had someone come do a sound bath for us, massages and she did reiki. It all came tumbling out. I’ll never forget that. And when I was terrified to go on the @pitchblackorg stage, she had me over to practice my pitch and made me a playlist of affirmations to help me overcome my fear. When we were artists in residence together last summer at Parallax, we cut up! Z, your friendship means so much to me sis. You the realist of the real and I’m so grateful for you in my life. Love you mamas. Buy her oils, journals, go to her retreats. Follow her @blackrosewellnesspdx , I guarantee you’ll unlock something. . . . . #supportblackwomen #sunflower #magic #healer #sister #mother #goddess #realone #traumasupport

Big Energy vibe at @mypeoplesmarket! 💥 Grateful for every convo, connection, and moment of support. Huge love to @mercatuspdx, @prosperportland, @y.g.b.portland, and @flimediainc for building community with purpose 💛. Looked at how one customer got every product she wanted for Sunday self-care gift to herself. It was done just right 🫶. To everyone who stopped by—you showed up, and we felt it. 🙌 Excited wait to see you again at our Refill Station launch on July 15th. Let’s keep the momentum going ♻️✨ #bipocmarket #MyPeoplesMarket #RefillStation #essanceskincare #PortlandEvents #CommunityOverCompetition #ecofriendlyproducts #ShopLocalPDX #mercatuspdx

Years from now, I will look back and remember this week as the week I truly felt home in Seattle. Moving to south Seattle was the start of me really finding my place here. Having neighbors who look like me. Having a neighbor opt in to mow my lawn this week (and always) after seeing my struggle 😆 Cohosting a week worth of events that bring out all of the joy and community I’ve been seeking. Heading to the Emmys with my Out and Back team who have truly become family. Hosting #WeOutHere trail fest with @confidentaaliyah and making history. Sharing food and laughs with friends. Volunteering at Kouri’s school basically every day 😅 and getting to know all the sweet little kiddos he goes to school with. Making new friends and planning more activities for movement and joy. My heart is full. Everyone deserves this. #RunningWhileBlack #EverybodyOutside #GlobalRunningWeek Photo by @flimediainc
