Happy Thanksgiving to my American Peeps! And if you’re not from the USA, I wish you the happiest of days! I’m catching up on a lot of work- both for school, and a few commissions, while I camp out on the couch with the Macy’s parade on in the background, and the dog show that airs after!

Today’s horses are Jolly Jumper, and a Lisa Frank themed foal! (I do not endorse Lisa Frank- they’re definitely worth a google for those interested in the controversy!)

Yet another Neighvember post! This time, featuring a horse, of course; Mr Ed! And an old Disney character I didn’t recognize at first, Cyril Proudbottom. As an artist, I wish Disney would go back to the old ways of things when their work was actually creative and new- like good old Cyril here. And the AI news as of late has been incredibly disheartening- especially since working at Disney was a massive dream for my younger self. Regardless- all of my artwork is human-handmade: and that will never change; until the day I lose my hands in a tractor accident or I die!

My #neighvember2025 contribution: mythological and/or spooky horseys in black and white.
#neighvember by @flintljones Thank you for persisting! 💪🦄

Prompts
- Icthyocentaur. This was so lovely to draw. I imagine he's trying to recruit her to that intermythological space programme I've mentioned...

- Ghost warrior horse from Disney's Fantasia. I doodled a bunch of these horses in the notebook margins as a highschooler. Felt nostalgic.

- Ring wraith horse from The Lord of the Rings. The ring wraith became too big so -- ring wraith pony?

- Horses of Helios. Me when I get drawing ideas that exceed my art skills. I love the mythic idea that the Sun is a carriage pulled by horses across the sea. In Helios' Wikipedia page it said he was often depicted travelling with his siblings Selene (Moon) and Eos (Dawn) as well as stars! I was going after some kind of baroque aesthetic. This should be like a monumental art piece in the palace ceiling. You see my vision? Right?

Another post! (And it’s super late, I know) Anyways- I’ve been super inspired by @atlas_hound and their AMAZING artwork and stories for my Icthyocentaur drawing! They originate from Greek mythology, but my brain went but what If SEAL? So here: enjoy!

Also- I was born just a little too late to experience the prime of the Bella Sara age. By the time I realized it was a thing, it was gone. I had a lot of fun researching its history and fanbase though! I made my own custom card, with my two lil dummies on it.

Some more #neighvember ponies this fine fall evening! (It’s evening somewhere!) Did anyone else grow up watching racing stripes? I remember drawing a lot of zebras like him when I was little! Also- please don’t hate me I only watched the last unicorn for the first time this last month… as a college student. 🫣 (I loved it btw!)
