”What’s up, anglers! I’m Francisco Rosario, better known as Pochy or Tarponhombre. I’ve spent 30 years as an inshore fishing guide, specializing in the ultimate challenge: fly fishing for tarpon. If you want to experience true adrenaline and hook the Silver King, you’re in the right place. Let’s hit the water!”

Let’s be clear. We are NOT Just a trout shop!

Each member of our team is passionate about something pretty unique. @colbyperkins_19 loves long rodding for Small Mouth, Specifically using a popper/dropper rig. This quick video goes into the basics, but come on in and pick our brains in more ways to have fun with the fly rod this season!

Huge thank you to Richie from @flippinflies for taking me and baby boy out fishing. We had an amazing time, caught multiple fish, made some great memories, and shared plenty of laughs along the way.

It was a day we won’t forget, and we’re already looking forward to getting back out on the water again soon.

If you’re looking to book a fishing trip, I personally recommend FlippinFlies. Great experience and a great time all around. Thank you again, Richie!

PRO TIPS- Joey talks us through the approach, cast, and fight of landing large fish on dry flies. The importance of side pressure and NOT fighting the fish directly down stream. This is a MASTER CLASS on landing large Farmington River fish on 4wt rods!
