Rainbow Body is the debut album from an extraordinary musical collaboration featuring Taylor Goldsmith and Griffin Goldsmith (Dawes), Rick Mitarotonda (Goose), Eric Krasno (Soulive), Ross James (Phil Lesh & The Terrapin Family Band), and Adam MacDougall (Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Circles Around the Sun), with special guests Oteil Burbridge and Nicki Bluhm.

Recorded in Iceland, the self-titled album blends psychedelic rock, Americana, soul, folk, and improvisation, anchored by Taylor Goldsmith’s songwriting and shaped by the chemistry and distinct musical voices of its six members.

Wild places deserve more than awareness.

They deserve our attention. Our respect. Our presence.

That’s why we’re here.

To create music inspired by nature that benefits nature.

@quoia.earth is a living creative ecosystem connecting music, wild places, and conservation to restore harmony with the natural world.

Founded by @coxenterprises, @elevenexperience, and @atlanticpkg, QUOIA invites artists into the wild to channel sounds shaped by the land, raising vital awareness and funds for conservation.

Eight artists came together for QUOIA’s debut session, with six forming the new band Rainbow Body: Taylor Goldsmith, Griffin Goldsmith, Rick Mitarotonda, Eric Krasno, Ross James, and Adam MacDougall. Born in Topanga Canyon and recorded in Northern Iceland @flokistudios, the group blends roots from Dawes, Goose, Soulive, Lettuce, and the Grateful Dead family.

On Thursday, Oct 22, at the Rivian Theater in Laguna Beach, Rainbow Body and special guest artist Nicki Bluhm will join acclaimed music photographer and documentarian Jay Blakesberg for a conversation about QUOIA and music inspired by the land. Please note that this session is a conversation, not a musical performance.

Then Friday, Oct 23 at the Irvine Bowl, join us for Rainbow Body’s world-premiere concert—performing live under the stars for the very first time, with special performances by Olas Perdidas, Garth Stevenson, and Ignacio Maria Gomez.

Tickets going fast. Link in bio.

Wind through trees. Water over stone. Birds calling across the canopy.

Nature made music long before we arrived.

We’re just learning how to listen.

QUOIA takes a different approach to conservation work — one set to music — and we can’t wait to share it with you.
