Floral pride activation for @arturotequilaofficial for Pride Month.
.
The way I am so I love with my use of color, baby!
.
What’s really funny about this is in 2020, right before Covid, I made my first step into doing floral in Johannesburg on my own. No floral education, no impressive background, just me and gumption. And I lived in this Melville area thanks to @dranesumbizvo
.
I didn’t have nearly the experience I have now. And I still feel like I’m on the novice side. And I’m ok with that because I want to continue to learn and grow with each new project and collaboration.
.
And since then I have probably done 100+ events including weddings, installs, pop-up’s and more between Chicago and Johannesburg.
.
Just goes to show that if you keep trying, I guarantee you will not step in the same river twice (… and that’s on Disney Pocahantas).
.
Congolese and South American inspired restaurant- just the kind of fusion my heart is here for.
.
Listen! Run and go get you some tacos hunny and a nice champagne-margarita. Tell em’ “Ashley-The Florist” sent you!
.
Enjoy!

230 gift bags later and we did it! One thing about my family is they show up! I know I say I’m thankful for them but I don’t think they even know how much it means to me. 🥹 it was all hands on deck to get these custom bags made! We laugh so hard when we get together.. it doesn’t even feel like work. Just family hanging out working on a project 😅 We are truly grateful to be apart of these events! I don’t think people realize the machine it takes behind the scenes to get the job done on top of our everyday lives. We may not always have a huge role BUT we will deliver and help in any way we can. I appreciate the opportunity! Thank you to @elmsevents & @eventnoirehq for including us for the @chicagocultureball

Venue: @artifacteventschicago
Custom Table numbers: @ckzdesignz
Floral centerpieces: @floreaflowerbar x @cava.ashley
Linen-gift bags- step and repeat set-up: @seventwentyfive.events.llc

Talk about finding a treasure when I first started using the shea body butter 7 years ago. If you haven’t already, TAP-IN!
.
Fast forward to last Saturday in collaboration with @universeofharth there is now a beautiful new scent literally capturing the Hana Hana elevation. I am hooked. A time was had full of community, wellness and moisture!
.
Thank you so much @beanieboamah for allowing me to add flowers to “studio 7” as we commemorate 7 years of you keeping us from being ashy. But also for taking on the beauty industry for well ,all of us. Thank you for continuing to show us the story and the process from start to finish.
.
As we are shifting seasons, think about what does it look like for you to “elevate”?

We had so much fun celebrating with our community our 7th anniversary + the launch of our new collaboration with @universeofharth at our very own Studio 7 in Chicago. If you missed out don’t worry you can experience it thought our recaps, or maybe we’ll bring it to a city near you👀💕

Thank you @TheStudioChicago for having us in your amazing space, @tahitian_treat for the beautiful interior design, @FloreaFlowerBar for the flower decor and of course to all of our amazing instructors.

Elevate fragrance spray launches Tuesday March 12th at 12pm est!

.
Been wrapped up and life and flowers. I do love it here.
.
You really do need to love this because I still have a rash on my inner arm from some of those Botanic leaves! Tip your florist!
.
P.S:
Some one please tell @unclewaffles_ that I got her on the flower tip when I’m back in Jozi! Or even when she’s here in Chicago!
