POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

📰 We made the cover of today’s New Pelican!

What an incredible joy to see Between Realms: Stories Etched in Flesh and Metal featured in The New Pelican — and to see the story of our friendship, our Haitian roots, and the art that brought us back together shared with the community.

“Divided by a dictatorship, two friends reunite for art” beautifully tells the story of how Valérie Lambert of Inaté Art D’Étain and I, childhood friends in Haiti, found our way back to one another decades later through art.

A heartfelt thank you to Michael d’Oliveira and The New Pelican for this wonderful feature and to everyone who has supported Between Realms.

📍 Sample-McDougald House, Pompano Beach
🗓 On view through September 30, 2026

Embellishing should not distract. I think too often an artist fails to stop. It is always hard for me to add to beautiful form. I ask myself can more make it better?

It's been some time since I last posted anything, but my charcoal drawing "The One That Stayed" is on display at the Court House Art Center in Stuart as part of EVERGLOW: Florida Artists Group's 76th Annual Exhibition. It will be on display from now until April 18, 2026. I'm so pleased that the piece won a Blick Materials Award. I hope anyone in the Stuart area will make a point to go see the piece and the show.
