During this season of @artbasel I’m thinking back to all the things that have happened since we set up our own Art Fair called North of Modern aka NOMO just north of the modern district in Miami - I was immature, I was young and I was hell bent on making sure everyone heard about the coolness of Jacksonville and our amazing art community. However it went down, all the good, all the bad, all the memories, we are using this as food for thought in order to move @floridamining ahead in a way that it can serve our community - many thanks to all involved let’s bring it back but here in JAX

@fitz and I would love to hear your thoughts and ideas on what Florida Mining 2.0 might look like in that regard

In the meantime check out this beautiful work by @rjpoz and @bozworthy

Some of my football game collages on view at Florida Mining. Inspired by Warhol’s athlete portraits, and made with post consumer packaging. Shapes and colors encode each quarter’s stats. Commission one of your favorite games - real or imagined!
