🏔️ Nepal preparations are officially under way! 🥾

Last weekend, members of our A Sonic Adventure: Nepal team headed to the Peak District for a weekend of training, testing and connection in some seriously stunning surroundings.

Nine hours on the trails gave us the chance to cover some much-needed miles, battle a few of the elements, test our kit in real conditions and pick up plenty of valuable tips along the way, all with brilliant leadership from Mark and plenty of team spirit to keep everyone moving.

Our slightly sore feet and aches are not stopping us from heading to @loveshutthefunkup AND Give this weekend!

This November, our team will journey deep into the Himalayas, trekking to Lake Tilicho at nearly 5,000 metres as part of our most ambitious adventure yet, raising vital funds to help complete the Girls’ Empowerment Centre in Devchuli, Nepal.

There are many more miles to cover between now and then, but every walk, every challenge and every step brings us closer, both to the mountains and to the difference we’re setting out to make.

Adventure with purpose, always 💚

Smiles,

Team LNADJ x

£35,650+ raised BOOM!

A few days on (and after a Bank Holiday breather), we’ve finally had a moment to take it all in… This one felt so different.

Yes, there was music, laughter, and a dancefloor that didn’t let up…of course there was, its LNADJ!!

But what really stood out was the energy in the room. We opened things up this year bringing together not just our long-time supporters, but the people who have shown up for LNADJ in their own way. And you could feel it.

A room full of people who weren’t just attending, but who were invested, connected, and genuinely grateful to be there.

That’s the Power of One.

Individuals choosing to act… coming together to create something much bigger.

💛 £35,650+ raised
💛 20% of the room now giving monthly
💛 So many of you stepping up to do more

That ripple effect is everything.

Big love to our host & DJs @ellietalebian @djstevebrown @eatseverything

And to everyone who contributed to the night, especially our auction donors who make the auction possible, and the brilliant Steph @stephlchadwick behind the scenes.

What we’ll take away most isn’t just the total, it’s the people.

The conversations. The energy. The momentum.

Head to toe lovely humans serving meaningful conversations, energy and momentum to keep this good thing moving.

If Thursday sparked something for you… follow it, reach out, get in touch, we would love to hear from you.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

For showing up.
For giving.
For believing.

Thank you for being part of it. Thank you for being the one. Together, we are making real, lasting change possible.

Big love 💛

One year ago today, we took 45 people higher than they’d ever been before 🚀

When I say we, I mean:
-The Tribe Experience
-Last Night a DJ Saved My Life foundation
-AJ, Angela and the most incredible team of porters, guides and chefs @abovetherimtours - the people who carried us, fed us, supported us, laughed with us, and got every single person safely up, and back down again 🙏🏽

Kilimanjaro was brutal in parts. That midnight start on summit night. Seven hours in the dark. -20°C. Body and minds tested to the limit.

It was really, really f****g tough.

But where there is darkness, there must be light.
When it’s tough, magic will follow ✨

Sunrise at the roof of Africa with 45 incredible humans, was that magic - and it didn’t stop there..

💍 @jo_sparkles_75 and @staceyapplegate74 got engaged at the summit! They will marry this year @zenboutiqueretreat - the beautiful 5* boutique hotel built from scratch by Kili climber @ty_b1979 and his wife Sarah.

👶 Little Reu made it to the summit before he’d even made an appearance on earth. Thanks to warrior Mum @bunnyy_ox and Dad @aarron_nelson

Together, we raised over £30,000:
-For Feathers Tale Special Needs Home, Moshi
-For Angels Gate Home for Street Boys, Moshi
-For The One Love Project, Uganda

Hard.
Emotional.
Life-changing.

Together, we did it - and it was magic ❤️🏔️✨

What goes up must come down 🏔️

On the morning of our final descent, we started the day with our tipping ceremony, a chance to officially recognise the immense efforts of our team of 140 guides, porters and chefs. @jo_sparkles_75 @ben_campbell2 @chiefed2 gave thanks on behalf of our tribe of climbers before our final 5 hour trek down to Mweka Gate and an ice cold bottle of Kilimanjaro!

Then, in true Tribe and LNADJ style, we celebrated. We called our party Synergy - meaning when people or organisations combine their efforts, to accomplish more together than they can separately.

Taking influence from the original party spirit that forms the roots of both Tribe and LNADJ; bringing people together, for a moment in time, to make magic happen, we celebrated all we had accomplished, raised and experienced during the last ten days.

Ten days that will stay with each and every one of us forever ❤️

We made it to the very top of Africa 🌍🚀

At midnight on 8th February 2025, we began our final climb to 5865m to conquer Africa’s highest peak. Thin air, almost vertical climbing for 7 hours, just head torches on, and in single file. Every single person broke through physical and mental barriers they never knew they had in their quest to reach the summit.

The reward - the greatest sunrise any of us have ever witnessed backed by the most overwhelming emotions as the scale of our achievements during the last 7 days hit hard.

A helicopter rescue at the summit laid bare just how quickly things can change at such high altitude and how lucky we were to have @Kyleraffo as our team medic.

To our exceptional team of guides, porters and chefs, led by AJ @abovetherimtours, thank you for the immense efforts from you and your team, at every minute to make sure we were always happy, comfortable and looked after. Your team were always high, which meant our team were always high (literally) which meant we had an experience that all 43 of us who climbed, will treasure for the rest of our lives.

The final word goes to each and every one of our Tribe of climbers who raised over £40K for @lnadj_charity projects at the base of Kilimanjaro and in Uganda, who came together as one solid unit, and one exceptional group of friends, to lift each other to the very top of Mount Kilimanjaro 🏔️

THANK YOU, from the very bottom of our hearts to the very top of Africa 🌍❤️

You’re our Tribe for life 💫

Day 4 complete saw us scale the amazing Baranco Wall 🙌🏽

A steep 300m scramble up the cliff from Baranco Camp at 3900m followed by a beautiful hike along to Karanga Camp at 3995m

Some time to relax in the afternoon before heading to basecamp at 4650m and preparing for our summit the next morning!

Yesterday we visited some of the @lnadj_charity projects that our Kilimanjaro Tribe of 2025 have been raising funds for.

Feathers Tale provides a home and safe space for able bodied and special needs children.

Angels Gate is a centre for street-involved boys focusing on providing art and music learning and creative expression.

Both projects are doing phenomenal work to provide safety, love and care for vulnerable children in and around Kilimanjaro and it was a privilege to be able to share so much joy with the children.

We’re over half way towards our fundraising goal of £40,000 which is a huge boost as we prepare to take on the mountain we came to climb 🚀
