I want to put this here for memory. ❤️

If I ever have down times when I feel like I’m failing, let this be a reminder I’m not and doing something right. 😉

My kids. My inspiration. My pride and joy. My biggest supporters.🥰. I hope in return I inspire them.

I am forever grateful for my son’s teacher who sent me this message last week, and I want to keep this message here for always.

And an update on the book cover, still doing minor tweaks but will get there. I wanted to also thank everyone for all your votes and feedbacks last week. It was really interesting to read the feedback and also learnt a few new things from it.

What a fun morning spent at my son’s class yesterday doing my book reading!

It’s been a while since I last done my book reading. Because I have a major fear for public speaking. BUT when his teacher suggested it, I couldn’t be happier to do this one.

My son has been so excited and so proud of me, I could see in his eyes. He has been counting down to this day for me. ❤️

The kids are amazing. I love hearing their questions, and I love the opportunity to hopefully inspire them in a small way.

I love that they lifted me up by asking me to sign the bookmark I gave them. It was just the cutest and definitely a core memory for me.

And last but not least, the best part of this all?

The kids asking my son for his autograph because he was part of the music video for the song that @helloemilyarrow had wrote for my book! (If you turn on the sound, you can hear part of the song in this reel!) It’s honestly the best to have my son be part of it all ☺️

Thank you to the most amazing teacher, @flowglowgrow for having me yesterday. It wasn’t so scary after all talking in front of these awesome little ones!

Feeling so much love and gratitude!

I wanted to personally invite all Ismaili students/youth and young adults in the GTA to our very special concert experience, ‘Find Your Light’ happening soon AND share my WHY behind this all.

Creating the album and concert was a very healing and transformative journey for me and for the people involved as we got to delve deep into our inner selves, learn about our minds and find the blessings in even the darkest of moments.

We are so excited to bring this to you and hope you’ll share/spread the word and bring your friends for this amazing experience!

The feedback we got from the last show was unbelievable to me.🥹🥹

To be honest there were moments where I questioned sharing such challenging, vulnerable parts of my life through my stories and songs but I’ve always told myself - If I can make life easier on even just 1 person it’ll all be worth it.

This concert is my life story, my journey, from the darkest moments to the brightest, and the life and soul lessons I learned along the way.

I’m glad it had such impact as seen from the comments above. I’ve been revising the show to be even more powerful and transformative.

Ticket sales are open to Ismailis and multifaith family members. Please spread the word and bring a friend!! 🙏🏽🎟️

See you there ✨
