👏poo does not go in the bin 👏
 Fun fact if the day
If you use cloth nappies or disposables the poo has to go in the toilet !!!

The most common excuse I hear for not doing cloth nappies is "touching" poo. Well ...... if yoh use disposables the poo has to to be put in the toilet anyway!!!

Hope you learnt something new today. And stop putting human waste in the bin 😊

My favorite cloth nappy brands are
@bearandmoonz
@clever_wee_fox
@fluffyducks_mcn
@kekoa.nz

We are using disposables because we are in a rough season 😅 baby not fitting in new born cloth nappies or OSFM cloth either 🤣

My baby was 2 weeks old when we started elimination communication. We're now 2 months in and catching 80% of his wee’s & poo’s!

👶🏽 Less nappies to buy, wash or throw out.
👶🏽 No nappy rash from sitting in 💩
👶🏽 No toddler toilet training in the future; most babies raised with EC start using the potty on their own before 18 months old.
👶🏽 Reinforces the bond with baby & parents, through responding to baby communication.
👶🏽 We’ve never had a nappy blowout or leak, saving hassle & laundry!

It’s easier than you expect, and I’m not gonna lie, it feels pretty bad-ass to develop that level of awareness with your child.

And, of course, I’ll be repeating everything I learn along the way, so follow for more. 💪🏽

Are all nappies created equal? The answer is NO. When I started researching, I was shocked to discover most brands use terrible materials or simply refuse to tell you what they’re made of!

Given how vulnerable our babies are, this is unacceptable. We deserve to know exactly what is against their skin 24/7, especially when they’re so susceptible to absorbing toxins.

Save this post to refer back to and keep swiping to find out what nappies I would never use, why you should care, and what safer, better alternatives exist.

Here’s your quick rundown on safer nappy options:
Top Reusable Picks: You ideally want organic cotton. Great stockists include:
@realnappies
@fudgeypants
 @healthpostnz (stocking Vimse)
@nappymojo

We use an organic cotton prefold or insert inside a PUL outer. Some great outer options:
@babybeehinds Wool Cover

100% Organic Merino Wool Cover @fluffyducks_mcn
@fudgeypants WOOLOVERS.

❓Should I do a reel on how we use reusables the low tox way and to avoid synthetics?
