Fun fact: When I (Tara Raquel) first started my Pastry and Baking Arts career at the @iceculinary , I looked into various Gluten-Free bakeries to trail/extern at because having my very own Gluten-Free bakery was always my dream. Whipped Pastry Boutique stood out to me the most because it is a 100% Gluten-Free bakery, woman-owned and dedicated to delivering outstanding quality pastries and baked goods. This became the first bakery that I trailed and worked at. I learned so much from Chef Michelle Tampakis and was so incredibly inspired by her. 6 years later, I finally got the chance to thank her and reunite with her and also had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful Chef Sabrina of @flutterbutterbakery. 💜💜💜

This coming Friday 10/9, we’re teaming up with our neighbors @flutterbutterbakery (another Brooklyn-based woman-owner business) for our first-ever gluten-free Friday featuring gluten-free buns for your lobster rolls + gluten-free muffins from @ingoodmeasure_ (yet another NY-based woman-owned business)

Come for a lobster roll. Leave with a muffin. Live your best gluten-free life.

We might do these weekly or monthly? We don’t know! Our non-gluten-free lobster rolls will be available, but we will also be serving gluten free options!

Everything I ate gluten free during my Cape Cod bachelorette weekend! My sisters planned the absolute BEST weekend & I’m still not over it!!! 🥹♥️

They thought of every little detail and made the whole weekend so special & OF COURSE, there was a lot of good food involved!

Save this for your next Cape Cod trip & let me know anymore spots on the Cape I need to checkout! 🌊

We had Pizza Shark the first night of the weekend and it was SO good! They have 3 locations and I highly recommend. I shared a whole video recently with more info on their gluten free options and cross contact, so check that out too 🍕

100% dedicated gluten free and dairy free and truly unreal! My first time making it to their Cape Cod location & you would never know it was gluten free. I LOVE their cookie dough, but everything I’ve tried was so good!

They also sell Sweet Izzy’s at @pizzasharkcapecod in Harwich so I got to enjoy even more throughout the weekend ☺️

Opened this past spring and I was so excited to finally try it! They have gluten free pastries and gluten free focaccia for sandwiches.

The coffee and brown butter banana bread were both SO good.

One of my absolute favorites from New York, so I really wanted to bring them for my friends to try (spoiler alert: they all loved them)! Their brown butter chocolate chip cookies and cinnamon rolls were such a hit. You’d never know they were gluten free!!

My sisters shipped 100% gluten free bagels and rugelach from @modernbreadandbagel in NYC & they were the perfect addition! We also had homemade gluten free treats from friends, fruit, bacon, goodies from @westmeadowbakery, mimosas and all the little things that made the weekend so special! 🥹♥️

One of the best surprises was my sister brought her @ninjakitchen coffee machine & I fear my life was changed…the BEST speciality lattes all weekend long!

Right near the beach and perfect for coffee. They also have gluten free pão de queijo! Not dedicated gluten free, so talk to the staff/ask questions!

We went here for dinner our last night and had such a fun time! Lots of gluten free options and great drinks!

OFF THE WHEAT uno stand al farmer market di Union Square, 100% gluten e wheat free. Un’attivita’ gestita da donne che offre prodotti a basso contenuto di carboidrati, biologici e del commercio equo e solidale. La loro floreale Persian Love Cake ha un deciso gusto agrumato. Anche la Organic lemon olive oil raspberry e’ top.
BUB’S bakery, il primo panificio a NY privo dei 9 principali allergeni. Le persone che vi lavorano sono molto gentili. Siamo tornate piu’ volte per gustare il loro iconico cinnamon roll caramellato, oltre alla danish alle fragole, alla carrot cake e al maple glazed blueberry scone.
KOKE nel Greenwich Village un caffè giapponese 100% vegetale e senza glutine, per il raffinato gelato al sesamo nero e caramello.
PAPI PASTA & PIZZA con postazione dedicata al senza glutine, nei pressi di Bryant Park. La pasta pomodoro e burrata sembra fatta in Italia.
SIXTEEN MILL bakeshop a Brooklyn un panificio con prodotti 100% gluten free, a base vegetale, senza zuccheri raffinati. Abbiamo scelto uno squisito strawberry almond yogurt cake, un summer sour cherry chocolate cake ed un chocolate babka muffin.
GLACE dove questa volta non potevamo non assaggiare il gelato floreale milk & honey, in edizione limitata, realizzato in collaborazione con @gregbaxtrom
SPRINGBONE un ristorante biologico con pietanze 100% gluten freee dove abbiamo mangiato piu’ volte le squisite zuppe di pollo e zucchine e di lenticchie e patate dolci.
MODERN BREAD AND BAGEL, dove andiamo da anni per l’accogliente atmosfera, soprattutto nella sede dell’Upper West Side. I prodotti sono tutti squisiti, 100% gluten free e kosher. Non puo’ esserci NY senza Modern.
DEUX LUXE nel cuore di Nolita dove non potevamo non scegliere un hamburger.
AGATA & VALENTINA, la grocery 100% gluten free nell’Upper East Side, per il celebre almond croissant, mai troppo dolce.

Spent the best 72 hours in Montauk with my Mom ☺️ We went on the same trip 8 years ago, almost to the day, right after I was diagnosed with Celiac. While we’ve been a few times since then, we haven’t gone on a mother-daughter trip there since my first week of eating gluten free. Time flies!!

I looove a hyped up matcha and this one from @themontaukgeneral did not disappoint 🍵

No better place to eat sushi than at the beach 🍣🌊 @wasabibeachmontauk takes Celiac very seriously, and almost everything can be GF. Don’t miss this!

Iconic for a reason - I always hit @lunchlobsterroll in Amagansett on my drive into Montauk. They take Celiac seriously and the hot lobster is delish 🦞

@crowsnestmtk takes Celiac seriously and has options. Week nights are the ideal time to come here as it gets packed and is walk-in only. The ambiance is really what you’re here for - you can also go just for drinks and have it by the water (which is the star of the show)🥂

Pro tip for @lefthandcoffee - you can order ahead online ☕️👀

All the baked goods @bambis.cafe are GF with certified ingredients. I can’t speak to the safety of their menu items, but the baked goods are delish!

@roundswampfarm_mtk is another classic - I ate this with @simplemills crackers for an amazing lunch 🤠

My first time trying @alimentaribeach and I was pleasantly surprised! Super safe for Celiac and the dishes were amazing 🍝 The bolognese was super flavorful and the pasta was a great texture

@alimentaribeach the GF pizza was crispy, flavorful, and prepared safely for Celiac 🍕

I looove @flutterbutterbakery cookies in the city so we super excited to find them @themontaukgeneral 🍪

I live 5 blocks from a @myka_greek.usa but haven’t been because of the line 🥲 finally got my chance because this location was line-free on a Wednesday

I never miss a @hormansbest pickle on a stick 🥒

My fave granola @thehamptongrocer ! Was so excited to pick it up from the farmer’s market ☺️

This salad @crowsnestmtk was sooo good. Shaved parm and hazelnuts with a golden raisin dressing 🤌
