So grateful for this group of teachers and the positive energy they bring to our community.

Good energy and so much more… Hard work, dedication to their craft, mutual support and lots of love. It’s rewarding work we do, but it can be demanding, especially with other jobs, a heavy class schedule and when you’re trying to support yourself with it.

That’s why meetings like this, full of creative ideas for our future as a studio, feel so good.

My heart is grateful to each of these teachers, and also our admin team @nativa_balance, @kerrietrahan, @arinnsa_yoga and @edgarinmotion who give their all to help make this place what it is.

Shout out to @thebestacai.usa, who’s Lincoln road location, right by our studio there, provided delicious açaí bowls for today’s gathering! Go check them out after class!

Yaya works with sound to create moments of stillness, presence, and connection. At the opening reception, she’ll share a special sound experience at 7pm, inviting us to slow down and experience the exhibition in a different way @fluxcapazitor

Meet us under the soft glow of the full moonon Saturday October 24, 2026 from5:00 pm - 7:00 pm guided by @fluxcapazitor

This is your space to slow down, feel it all, and hold yourself with compassion. The intensity of the Full Moon energy is here to teach you something you need to move forward. Make time to listen to yourself. By grounding the whirlwind of thoughts through the wisdom of the body, we will alchemize anxiety into clarity with breathwork, vocal activation, restorative yin poses, and a long sound bath. Come to feel safe to release your emotions, to reset your nervous system, and expand your imagination through deep relaxation. Commit to letting go of what no longer serves you in a community of like-minded people, and watch yourself flourish through the next season.

What to Expect:

- A warm cup of Hibiscus Tea with aromatic spices
- Supportive bolsters and blankets to wrap yourself in a cozy cocoon
- Grounding breathwork with aromatherapy essential oils
- Vocal activation to reset the nervous system and open for emotional release
- Restorative yin sequence to stretch the hips and shoulders
- Long sound bath journey with 15+ instruments (including crystal singing bowls, tank drum, shamanic drum, bird whistles, leaves, rainmaker, chimes, wind sword, crystal pyramid, shruti box, angelic vocals, and beyond)
- Time for integration with journaling prompts and connection questions

How to Prepare:

Bring a yoga mat. Dress comfortably for soft movement and laying down. You are welcome to bring any additional blankets or pillows you would like to feel cozy during the sound bath. A journal and pen is highly recommended to integrate your experience. There will be some light snacks available. We recommend eating at least 2 hours before the event, or after the event to receive the full effect.

If you’re calling in sisterhood, this is for you! We gather on the Fall Equinox, Saturday September 19, 2026 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Miami Yoga Garage (Wynwood), welcoming the change of season, to reflect on how we nurture and what we get to harvest. From creative projects to loved ones, we will reflect on our role as caretakers. The archetype of the warrior queen will guide us to claim our power as we make our own flower crowns. Together we will learn about managing our literal and metaphorical fertility, how to set boundaries, and create self-care rituals to give from the overflow. May this sister circle nourish you as you mature into Autumn!

We will apply insights and activities from books like Women Who Run with the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estes, Sacred Woman by Queen Afua, Pussy: A Reclamation by Mama Gena, Calling in the One by Katherine Woodward Thomas, Our Bodies Ourselves by Boston Women’s Health Collective, Awakening Shakti by Sally Kempton, and many more.

What to Expect for the Fall Equinox Circle:
- Warm Cacao with Rose and Calendula
- Vocal Activation with Women’s Empowerment Song
- DIY Flower Crown Talking Circle: What are you nurturing? What does it mean to Mother something? How do we connect the archetypes of Warrior and Queen with the strength and protection of caretakers?
- Presentation on “Nurturing our Fertility” by Suey Vendrell
- “Boundary Setting and Conflict Resolution 101” with Yaya Capáz
- Self-Care Plan for Giving from Overflow & Showing Up for Each Other
- Throne Pose Visualization in Your Power, then dance it out, Queens!

How to Prepare:
The space is ours to co-create so feel free to bring whatever your heart desires. Whether that’s snacks to share, a song or an object for the altar. Flowers are always welcomed. Please bring your own journal, pen, and water bottle. Dress comfortably in what makes you feel most connected to your queen energy. There will be light snacks available.

Cost:
$65 non-members
$45 MLC members

Se me está saliendo la Taína puertorriqueña que llevo dentro—and honestly, I’m letting her out. 🇵🇷🪘🔥

I love gathering with women, playing the djembe, and expressing through rhythm what I can’t always put into words. Every beat feels like release, connection, memory, and freedom.

Learning to live authentically is one of the most liberating things any woman can do.

So make noise. Feel everything. Take up space.
Be you, bitch. 💃🏽✨🧿

Session II of the House of Twelve unfolded on August 15 - and this time, the House endured.

After two deadlocked votes, it took a third to determine the fate of the House - a different outcome from Session I, when the House transformed. What will happen when the House meets again on September 12?

House of Twelve is an interactive, game-based theatrical performance rooted in social deduction, where twelve participants assume hidden roles and determine the fate of an institution under the watch of the Fourth Estate. On Saturday, September 12, the House opens its doors to the public. Join the Fourth Estate to witness, question, and scrutinize the proceedings. Free RSVP - link in bio.

The House will convene again 🎭️

This Saturday, August 15, a new group of Members of the House and the Fourth Estate will gather around the table for the second session of House of Twelve.

These twelve individuals will enter the House, take their places, and navigate hidden roles, shifting trust, and collective deliberation. Alongside them, these Fourth Estate members will observe, scrutinize, and, when called upon, intervene.

House of Twelve is a game-style theatrical performance rooted in social deduction dynamics, created as a summer engagement opportunity through Live Arts Labs Alliance (LALA), Live Arts Miami’s community program.
