First ever performance on aerial silks! The theme was cult classics, can you guess the film this is from?

Who else can relate to the constant ups and downs of training? 😂🙋🏼‍♀️

One of my 2026 resolutions was to spend more time as a student again, and let me tell you, I’ve been HUMBLED - in the best way! My brain still wrestles with “well if I don’t get it first try, I’m a failure and a fraud 🫠” but it’s honestly felt so good to push past my comfort zone and learning new things! 🤩

Especially when you have such wonderful and supportive people to learn from! 🩵
So here’s to always learning! ✨

Trying new skills is important for the body and the brain. ✨

Every unfamiliar movement asks the brain to process information, understand where the body is in space and learn a new sequence.

With practice, the brain adapts and strengthens the connections involved in that skill. This is neuroplasticity: our brain’s ability to change in response to learning and experience.

Challenging ourselves physically and mentally can support healthy ageing, helping us stay curious, engaged and confident.

For me, learning aerial hoop challenges my strength, flexibility, balance and coordination—and keeps my mind fully present.

Keep moving. Keep learning.

Can we appreciate how 🤌 well 🤌 the song synched up to the video? 😮‍💨

A lot of my verticals students this week had the pleasure (😈) of trying my new entry to S-lock, and thank you @circobea for showing me S-lock beats 😍

Will you give this combo a try? 👀

DISCLAIMER: *New* as in new to me ☝️ and that I haven’t seen before!

But this is what happened when I was too tired to do the regular French Wrap entry I know so I decided to “cheat” it 🙊… except there is no cheating in aerial and there’s a bonus pretty pose and no slack in the wrap! 😎🙌

Let me know if you had seen it before or if you try it! 👏
