We’re officially part of The Square family in Winchester! 🖤

Our SISU sign is up and we couldn’t be more excited for this next chapter.

Lots of progress with the studio lately, and lots of lovely little moments in between.

And yes, we’ll absolutely be finding unnecessary excuses to walk past our own sign 😂🖤

A little look around The Mill in Buckingham 🤍 @themillbuckingham_reformer

I’m here teaching every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and I honestly love this space!

My style of Pilates is very much rooted in STOTT @merrithew Pilates, so I naturally have a more rehab-focused approach, with lots of attention to alignment, control and moving well.

But I also love throwing in a bit of contemporary Pilates, some creative flows and more dynamic movements to keep things fun and challenging!

I love finding that balance between the two, and making sure there’s something for everyone, whatever your level or experience.

Such a lovely space to teach in, and even better people to share it with 🫶

Why teens need Pilates.

Between school, sports, growth spurts and hours spent sitting, teenage bodies are going through a lot.

Pilates is a great way to introduce strength, stability, coordination and body awareness early on.

It can complement their sports, help them develop better movement habits and support spinal health. For teens with scoliosis, tailored Pilates can support strength and movement alongside their medical care, but it doesn’t correct the spinal curve.

And something I particularly enjoy? Training alongside my daughter. It’s a chance to move, challenge ourselves and spend time together.

Want to try Pilates with your teen? DM for details🤍

Save this Reformer Pilates warm-up flow for your next session 🫶✨

Whether you’re a Pilates instructor looking for class inspiration or practising at home or in the studio, this full-body warm-up is one to save!

This Reformer Pilates sequence combines traditional footwork with some of my favourite Mat Pilates exercises to warm up the whole body 🔥

✨ The flow:
• Reformer Footwork – warm up the lower body and prepare for your session
• Single Leg Circles – bring a little Mat Pilates into your Reformer practice
• The Hundred – a Pilates staple to fire up the core and build heat throughout the body
• Shoulder Bridge – mobilise the spine while activating the glutes, hamstrings and lower body

A lovely way to ease into your Reformer Pilates session, connect with your breath and prepare the body for movement.

SPRING SETTINGS ✅
• Footwork: 4 springs
• The Hundred: 2 medium springs
• Bridge: 2 medium springs

Save this for your next Reformer Pilates class or personal practice and follow for more Pilates flows, exercise inspiration and teaching ideas! 🫶
