Today in this years first Meet the Minds behind the Math!
Gabriel Frampton @foldedcrystals

“By taking inspiration from knot theory, I developed a method of weaving strips to make modular origami. These shapes are remarkably stable without any glue or tape. My piece for this year’s Bridges showcases my newest units; this one is based on the dodecahedron but the same units can be adapted to many other shapes. I’d love to share the designs with anyone interested!”

Goodbye Mr. Pants. You were my constant companion throughout cancer treatment and I don’t think I could have gotten through it without you. I love that half of my camera roll is just us hanging out. We’ll miss you so.

Podcast 029 @foldedcrystals Gabriel is a techno, electro, breaks, IDM and UK bass DJ based in Austin, Texas. 🇺🇸 This mix is borne of his love for combining blissful melodies with punishing beats.

The styles of hypnotic and industrial techno blend with eclectic club music and classic 90s selections. in this mix, He prefers to let the melodies lead him to the next track selection and try not to stay with one style for very long.
