A little self-care, a little Sculptra talk.✨

Spent the loveliest day at @folklorespa at Camp Lucy, and figured I’d bring you along while sharing a recent consultation that reminded me why the conversations we have before treatment matter just as much as the treatments themselves.

A patient came in interested in facial rejuvenation, and we ended up deciding not to inject that day.

Not because she couldn’t benefit from filler or Sculptra, but because after talking through her goals, it became clear that exploring a facelift might be the better first step.

And that’s an important distinction.

Sculptra can be a beautiful option for gradual collagen stimulation, restoring support, and improving the appearance of skin laxity. But it isn’t a surgical lift, and when someone is seriously considering surgery in the near future, treatment timing and long-term planning deserve a conversation.

Being a good candidate for a treatment doesn’t always mean it’s the right treatment right now.

Sometimes the best thing we can offer during a consultation is a little clarity. 🤍

And as for Folklore Spa? Such a beautiful experience and exactly the kind of reset I needed. 10/10 recommend if you’re ever in the area.

It only took us 13 years, but we finally took the trip 🫶🏼 @camplucyoncreek is one of the most remarkable properties I’ve been to, and @folklorespa is now on my list of top spas in the nation. 10/10. @suzmarie2 - thanks to CSU (I guess 🤣).

Camp Lucy’s newest addition: Folklore Spa. A 45 minute drive from Austin & an excellent experience. If you’re looking for a girls getaway or treat yourself moment I can personally vouch for it. Feeling spoiled I got to celebrate my friend Vic turning one year greater over the weekend 💕
