Every year, the Toronto International Film Festival brings some of the best filmmakers, artists and storytellers from Canada and around the world to Toronto, giving Canadian talent a global platform. This year, I got to see that firsthand: from the premiere of Reef to Ridge and the incredible work of Mark Vins and the team at Brave Wilderness, to visiting the Innovation Hub with Parliamentary Secretary Madeleine Chenette and meeting creators like Steph & Den, who are making personal finance more accessible to young Canadians. Creators are changing how we tell stories and connect with audiences. Seeing that world intersect with TIFF was a great reminder of how much storytelling has evolved, and how important creators have become to the way we connect, learn and share ideas. 🇨🇦 📸 @mehdi_najarali and @ata20037

— Ghazal Majidi presents, in co-production with DigiBC, Twenty Twenty-Five . What happens when your body becomes the archive? This interactive digital mirror transforms the viewer’s reflection into an archive of 1,000 photographs of airstrikes from 2025. By revealing these images through the viewer’s own presence, the work reflects on how violence is seen, archived and experienced from a distance. 📍 Experience Twenty Twenty- Five from August 20 to September 3, at the Village Numérique, at the Parterre.
