So my Sunday was my perfect day! A gathering of friends for a notebook and leather journal making course by the inspiring and lovely @followcuriosity We printed and painted to make covers for our notebooks, learnt how to bind them and then made leather journals to put our notebooks in. We then made leather key rings with personalised tags to finish off. Janet’s home is stunning and she is a fantastic (and patient teacher). She even made us a delicious lunch. It was such a special day and all in the heart of Loughborough!!! I can highly recommend if you like making and stationery. Now I just want to make more!

BUILD IT FOR LOUGHBOROUGH 🧱 Everyone benefits from space to be creative. Towns across the UK are in need of warm, safe places where people across communities can meet and gather, for free. Centering creativity creates space for our communities to dream for the future.

Over the last seven years we have facilitated a free programme of exhibitions, family workshops and have launched Lboro Lates alongside other key arts and cultural organisations in the town.

With the money we raise we will be able to build a site that is welcoming and full of life for the whole of Loughborough to enjoy, but we’re down to the final few days of our Crowdfunder campaign!

We need to hit our target of £20K by midnight on Friday to make this dream a reality, will you help build it for Loughborough?
