Idk about you but…
IG can be amazing! It’s truly been a blessing (in spite of the algorithm) because it’s literally been a platform that has fed my kids and my heart over this past year. I’ve had the opportunity to work with amazing brands here- but more than that, I’ve had the opportunity to make great friends! And many of them came to DC this weekend so…we turned up each day in true DC style! ✨✨

We met for dinner @rewinddc << then Saturday there was an amazing picnic setup by @sopoong_picnics and guess who made a special appearance 😆 >> @kendrascott gave us presents and we ate @unforgettablebeanpies and @peruvianbrothers empanadas >> @espressofied , @astinsmama and I danced because we all have kidney transplants (what are the odds??) 💚I did a shoot with @a_queensstory at @yourstrulyhotel then celebrated @tokestakeonstyle bday at @grillfishwdc for brunch with @absolutelyayanna and so much more…needless to say these ladies know how to party like we do in DC so y’all are welcome back anytime!

Last but not least, @fashncurious got my favorite leap shot, together! 💃🏽

It all started from Club House- during the lunch room by @mysistuhskeeper - I am coming to D.C. for the weekend and others said me too. Then we started a group chat to plan it all. Somehow we settled on Pastel colors for Saturday event.

I never imagined joining CH and then connecting with so many wonderful women, exchanged numbers and then In Real Life, we saw each other for a Picnic.

Saturday was picturesque and ladies from @mysistuhskeeper (DMV, TX, NJ, NY, NC, et al) got together to enjoy one another's company in the most beautiful way possible!

💛 @sopoong_picnics set up a gorgeous luxury picnic for us, complete with a luxe tent (which was perfect in providing us shade from the sun)
💛 We noshed on the best empandas, platanos, & alfajores by @peruvianbrothers, as well as the most amazing bean pies by @unforgettablebeanpies
💛 @a_queensstory took so many fun photos and videos of everyone, even though she had come to play/relax, too
💛 We laughed, leaned, leapt, and just enjoyed all this gorgeous day had to offer!

💛 Highly recommending @sopoong_picnics for an outdoor get-together! Such a unique date idea, romantic sunset setup, outdoor birthday party picnic, and more! The possibilities are endless!
