YOU KNOW A CHINESE SPOT IS LEGIT WHEN IT HAS 3.5 STARS 🥡🥢✨

@newhongkongwok_sc in Sacramento is under new ownership, and they have completely revamped their menu with quality, authentic Cantonese family-style dishes! What stood out most was how everything wasn’t overly salty or greasy like your typical Chinese takeout.

My top picks was their salted egg yolk mushrooms and egg shrimp gravy chow fun.

Trust me I’m not even a big mushroom fan, but these were bursting with salted egg yolk goodness. And if you still haven't tried egg shrimp gravy chow fun, you’re seriously missing out! The noodles were slippery and coated in rich savory gravy, creating the ultimate comfort dish.

A huge thank you to @foodyfandy for the invite to try this spot which is actually her family’s restaurant. And if you know Fandy, she is an incredible chef and it clearly runs in her family! 👩🏻‍🍳💕
