Our mission is to form leaders committed to faith, scholarship, and service through a college preparatory education in the Catholic Jesuit tradition.

The Honorable Joseph DioGuardi '58 recently gifted Fordham Prep with a copy of his book, 'The Quest for Albanian Freedom and the End of Yugoslavia', which has been added to our alumni author shelf in McNamara Library. Over 130 alumni have contributed copies of their books covering topics as varied as baseball, religion, government, and politics.

We celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with a delicious meal and a “Faith on Tap” discussion featuring Fr. Daniel Gustafson, SJ. He gave an excellent presentation on how St. Ignatius’ vision, faith and imagination shaped his worldview and how it impacts Jesuit institutions today. Thanks to Fr. Gustafson for sharing his time and to the Office of Mission Integration and Planning for co-sponsoring this fun and faith-filled event with us.

A Real Champ is Right Here! FP alumni John Cooney '04 played baseball and was the team manager for the basketball team. He has followed the program over the years either by being at road and home games or following via live feeds. He was diagnosed with Leukemia right around when the playoffs started and went through an aggressive chemo session for a month. He got home yesterday and will be home before he heads back in for more treatments and transplants. Let's all keep John and his family in our prayers!
