so many of us (myself included) are convinced that once we are recovered returning to our sport will be easy and the results will come quickly, but that is not the case. i struggled with this A LOT and it is something i am continuing to understand the longer i do it.

👏🏻returning to sport after recovery is a process👏🏻, but trust me when i say, the results will come!!! so please please please don’t give up on yourself if it’s taking longer than you planned🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

It takes most people years till they fully consider themselves “recovered” and others never really use the term because they know the thoughts will still come in from time to time. I will say that between the ages of 18-19 I committed to recovery more than I ever have. I am very proud of all the progress I have made, but I wanted to enter 20 feeling even better.

I felt like the last month of stressful events pushed me to see how much I could handle.I didn’t give in, I fought with a different sense of motivation and determination than I ever have and in those last 4 weeks of being 19 I tackled that last hurdle that was holding me back.

Am i fully recovered, no, but i’m the most recovered i’ve ever been. So I hope this encourages some of you to find that extra sense of motivation to push yourself just a little bit harder than you have been🤍 YOU GOT THIS.

A new kosher fish restaurant called @fishgrill_brooklyn was unbelievable! The fish was super fresh and exceeded my expectations. Here’s what I ordered:

- Poke bowl with raw tuna
- Fish and chips (super duper crispy)
- Catch of the day: branzino with grilled zucchini
- Crispy white fish tacos
- Grilled salmon wrap

I was blown away by the flavors and how perfectly the fish was cooked. It’s the perfect spot for a date or just a great dinner that’s healthy, light, and guilt-free. I’ll definitely be going back!

Always enjoying the most elegant dishes at @fdmmiami in Miami! It’s one of my all-time favorite restaurants. The cuisine is absolutely divine, with a special shoutout to the humungous pistachio ice cream, as big as my face! 🍨

Tough times are temporary.

I know this is easier said than done, especially when you are living through it, but one day you are going to look back on this time and be so proud of how far you have come! Keep trusting the process💜

Still dreaming about the incredible birthday dinner we had for @stellashwayze at @patriziasofmanhattan! 🎉 From fluffy focaccia and espresso martinis to an array of appetizers including eggplant rollatini, grilled pulpo, tuna tartare, and goat cheese salad - every bite was a flavor explosion! But the star of the show? The Giardiniera Pizza with its roasted peppers, zucchini, eggplant, mushrooms, and generous blobs of burrata. And let’s not forget the epic gnocchi pasta oozing with cheese, chicken francese, and divine branzino! And for dessert? A massive mascarpone and Nutella pizza topped with a ginormous cannoli! Talk about an unforgettable feast! 🍕🍰

i think putting information like this into simple terms makes it the most effective. think about all the things we do as humans for objects like our watches, phones and cars. we would never let them run out of battery or fuel so why do we do it to ourselves?

i know people have mixed feelings about the “FOOD IS FUEL” phrase, but it really is true. no, food is not just fuel for workouts, it’s fuel for life💜💜

sometimes the only way to block out the irrational ED thoughts is by listening to your heart instead <3

it can be so hard to fight through the ED voice, especially around weight gain. however, when you start to realize all the other amazing things that you are gaining back as a result of recovery it makes the process so much easier. YOU GOT THIS!

inspo behind this post goes out to @growithtori 🤍🤍 one of the strongest girls ever!!
