Currents Berlin (@currents.berlin) is right around the corner, running from September 10–12, 2026. The new, decentralized design festival founded by Laura Ewert (@lauraewertofficial) and Jasmin Jouhar (@jasminjouhar) is focused on furniture, interior, and product design. The exhibition “(Behälter)”, in cooperation with Magazin (@magazin_com), explores the origins of design through one of humanity’s fundamental need: storage. Conceived by Martina Dimitrova (@dimitrovamartini), the exhibition brings together well-loved storage objects, and their everyday contents, pulled directly from the personal lives of local creatives.
