Out today on UBN 💿

We, at Universal Broadcast affirm our 15 year commitment to the North America underground with this inaugural compilation of Pan-American hardware music.

Spread across 15 artists sourced from the West Coast & Heartland of the continent; UBN Vol. 1 bonds together a diverse array of perspectives; each distinct in their practice, united by the personal esotera of creation. Hard fought within a culture of few redeeming values or virtue for the outsider steeped in decay. We thank each of you for your commitment to the vision. This is a Universal Broadcast.

FTH074 - DERRICK SPOTTS
(Unseen Force, Flysch, Elastic Energy Ensemble)

Manning the helm at Unseen Force, Derrick Spotts stops by to talk about multiple music projects. Growing up in Western Massachusetts, Derrick performs under the monikers Flysch, Ellery Everet as well as part of projects like Elastic Energy Ensemble, Full Metal Confused, and Public Universal Friend - to name a few. We dive deep into the joys of not making art, tacos and the lives of tape loops. So happy to have had the chance to get to know Derrick a little better and help tell this story of music discovery, deconstruction and dedication.

Thank you for listening.
